LOS ANGELES - Kiefer Sutherland pleaded no contest Tuesday to a charge of driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit and will serve 30 days in county jail under terms of a plea agreement.

Attorney Blair Berk entered the plea on behalf of Sutherland, who was not present.

As part of the arrangement, Sutherland must also enroll in an 18-month alcohol-education class and attend weekly alcohol-therapy sessions for six months.

That would seriously drive me to drink.

Sutherland is already on probation for a 2004 drunken driving arrest.

Maybe he'll get lucky and only have to do 24.

30 days will be at most a week.

They also revoked his probation and he will be sent to jail for that for maybe a lot longer than 30 days.
I think there is more jail time after he goes back to court for breaking parole.

The number of times he will be asked about the 24 prison break episode, will keep him from going sober...

If MADD had their way (and it is increasingly likely they will), it would last a lifetime.

Well, you got to figure that learning just the German beers would take 6-8 month at least, then when you move on to the wine list...

The thing is here, he never stopped drinking and driving. I wouldn’t have in his shoes. The limits are too low. An older person(25 or more) accustomed to drinking can handle .125 easily. .08 is a joke.
