So it’s just obvious that Katrina was caused by global warming?

Let me know when they give the prize to Reagan, then it may actually mean something.

I didn’t believe my eyes when I just read it. Headed straight over here to watch reactions.

The Nobel peace price is indeed a joke.

They lost all crediability with me when they never awarded the Peace Prize to John Paul II.

I guess JPII will have to be satisfied with becoming a saint and know he helped saved millions from communism.

I was scrolling down to see if someone made your point.

That’s what makes it all worthwhile.

Speaking of Burma, (Myanmar), I seem to recall that the monks protesting the government atrocities were being considered for a Nobel. They deserved it much more than Al Gore. It would have given them courage and strength and let them know the world has not forgotten them. Giving it to the undeserved Gore for nothing cheapens the award.

Proof positive that the Nobel prize committee is as mentally disturbed as Gore.

You beat me to it as far as posting. I have been thinking for days that the Nobel Peace Prize has jumped the shark. Carter and Arafat were merely putting on the skis, but Al Gore making a lame movie as a contribution to world peace makes me gag. At least one could argue that from a warped vision of the world, Carter and Arafat were trying to accomplish world peace; mind you I didn’t buy it. Now like Happy Days (once a highly rated TV show), the Nobel Peace prize has gone too far and sinks in public acceptance. I don’t think Al Gore’s fat carcass while carrying the prize is going to make it over the shark and instead will be eaten alive.

The prize means nothing now. It is liberal masturbation for the public to watch.

I apologize as that is the most racy statement I have made here since the Lewinsky scandal.

Oh, this is great for my morning laugh!

Al Gore beat Bill Clinton at something, and the Nobel Peace Prize is once again proven a joke. I mean if Yasser can win it, anybody can.

BTW, what does global warming have to do with peace, that part escapes me.

The only credibility the Nobel Prizes have these days is in Medicine, Chem, and Physics.

So, will he take an entourage of lefties on a fleet of luxuriously outfitted jumbo jets and fly them over to accept the prize?

Or will he accept the prize on a satellite hookup, have them email the certificate to him, and electronically deposit the money he doesn’t really need into his account? We shall see.

Bummer. I was pulling for Rush

Me. too. I thought Rush had a lock until he was swift-boated by Senator Harry Reid/Media/Matters/George Soros for his "phony soldiers" remark about the troops. < /s>
