Why secular progressives are Soros at liberals

Bill O’Reilly is onto something.
His book Culture Warrior describes a dangerous turn in southpaw politics and how the “liberals in charge of the Democratic Party” (LICDIPS) are wooing them. The Soros led and financed “secular progressive’s” (SPROGS) disdain with the not far enough left has contributed to the lowest poll ratings for congress in American history.
Did I mention Democrats control Congress?
Those at the top of the Dem ticket are petrified. They can’t tear themselves away from the Moveon.org cash funnel.
Soros pulls their strings, and they dance to it… or else.
Conservatives are from Mars, liberals are from Venus, secular progressives are from Jupiter
In August, I was a guest on progressive talk radio, KLSD, in San Diego, an affiliate of Air America. I learned firsthand their disdain for some of the same Dems that I had… only for much different reasons.
SPROGS are like LIPDICS on steroids. They aren’t saying things just to get power. They’re saying things and putting their bucks where their mouth is. They’re downright Cindy Sheehan serious about their causes.
SPROGS are rabid in their hate for Bush. Since the LIPDICS took Congress, they’re fuming that Bush hasn’t been cuffed and frog walked to The Hague.
It only follows that they libeled Gen. Petreaus in the New York Times. Forget that those Lib wienies voted unanimously for his confirmation in the Senate knowing full well that the surge was his mission. He was appointed by Bush for UN’s sake!
What to do after that Moveon Betrayus fiasco? Move on to Limbaugh on the senate floor for some trumped up charge about his patriotism. They pimped just the whores to do it: Sens. Harkin and Reid, and Reps. Waxman, and Udall.
Make our campuses safe from Ann Coulter or military recruiters while championing the cause of the people deserving of our support; Achmadinejad, Chavez, Ward Churchill, and anyone who will get up and blame the USA for 9/11 in front of frothing, hate America, college faculty and administrators. Oh yeah, and there’s the students, too.
Encourage the world to blame Jews for 9/11, the Iraqi war, terrorism, global warming, and ant flatulence in Australia. If you’re Jewish and support the president you become Sen. Joe Jewberman in the SPROG blogs.
Why stop at Judaism? The SPROG Grinches want to steal Christmas. Islam gets a pass as a religion of “tolerance.”
Some don’t know they’re at the end of their rope until the noose tightens
The problem with the SPROGS approach is that they think that ordinary Americans are either with them or are evil. As of yet, they won’t compromise. They’re out front obnoxious, arrogant, and elitist, unlike the LIPDICS they morphed from, and who now suckle Soros money at the expense of their souls.
Even Nancy Pelosi is not immune to their attacks. She had to endure anti-war campers ala Bush in her lavish San Francisco gardens, just because the SPROGS thought her a total dud in ending the war and kicking Dubya to the curb.
They hung their underwear on her rose bushes! That’s almost as bad as a Marine spotted in public in those parts.
Cindy Sheehan, the poster mom for the SPROGS, has declared herself a candidate to relieve Nancy of her congressional duties.
LIPDICS have learned that to win elections you say what the most people will like at a particular time, true or not, no matter what your position was yesterday or even five minutes ago. Either you’re newly enlightened or you can blame hypnotizing Republicans for tricking you.
SPROGS have not been around long enough to learn those lessons.
However, conservatives don’t have the same excuse.
Dr. James Dobson is equally demanding on the abortion issue. He, at this point, won’t support a candidate that hasn’t been totally pro-life. He reserves the right to change later. The problem with this approach is it’s a slippery slope to Hilly Billy land, where not only abortion loving judges will be appointed, but everything else Dr. Dobson stands for goes down the drain.
Dr. a little pragmatism may save the most babies, and sustain us in the war for our survival.
SPROGS and the good doctor seem to be waiting for the perfect candidate. Here’s a news flash for both:

Strangely I think Pelosi has kept herself from going completely over the edge on some things - far left as she is.
You can correct me if I’m totally wrong but I’ve seen a number of instances where she did not involve herself.

That’s what I was meaning. She thought she was going to be sooo powerful and things haven’t worked to her advantage. No doubt it is a big disappointment to her and she’s a bit more cautious.

The Left has traditionally used its most extreme to make the average wacko nutjob moonbat seem 'normal'.
Rather than use our own 'extremists' on the Right the same way, we keep throwing them under the bus.
This has forced the continuous morphing to the left which has occurred in the last few decades to appear within the realm of 'normal'.
Which has lowered the conservative bar--a lot.
