I think that Fred is driving the Fred bashers completely out of their minds:

The only way you can conclude that Thompson is for amnesty is if you have concluded that he is an outright liar. If that’s so, why don’t you make that your charge? That he is secretly for amnesty and lying about it?

You can conclude that he “flip-flopped” on CFR, but “flip-flop” is a term usually reserved for short-term opportunistic changes of position taken in order to triangulate the electorate. Thompson concluded some time ago that his vote on the CFR was a mistake and has maintained that position consistently since.

Your persistent mischaraterization of Thompson’s positions in the face of multiple corrections indicates to me that you are working the grinding wheel for somebody else.

I think New Hampshire is in for a rude awakening this year. Primaries have been scrambled and I don’t think it’s going to carry the clout it once did.

Your comments are reasonable, so don’t think I’m dismissing them as rediculous. I’m just not convinced things are going to play out as they have in past election cycles.

Thompson is a major player whether he does well in New Hampshire or not IMO. That doesn’t mean I’m right, it’s just my opinion.

Take care.

The aspiring Fred and First Trophy... they make John and Teresa Heinz-Kerry look wholesome.

Did Thompson and his "trophy wife" do some kind of axe murder thing that I did not hear about?

The MSM and their Electioneering cohorts are counting on the fact that the majority of eventual registered voters is NOT going to use the internet.

We still have senior super voters who rely on CBS NBC and ABC and perhaps a local newspaper for ALL their information.

There have been more hits on Rush’s ebay sale of the ridiculous Reid letter (signed by Candidate Hillary Rhodham Clinton I might add) than most of MSNBC viewership hours.

Yet the MSM is able to march on under the old rules.

Fox News is garbage now. When some insane 4 foot Korean dude was lobbing missiles toward Japan, I had to turn to CNN to get any kind of coverage and discussion. Fox News was busy talking about one of the dead blond girls or something.

No blow too low for you to strike, eh? Pretty scummy. Get on over to DU. You'll feel more at home.

Don't be to hard on Steve, he just crawled out of the sewer.

I had a runny nose and head congestion for a week. It was moderate but I thought it was gone but it spread to my chest and now throat in the third week.

I am getting frustrated with how long it’s taking to shake off. No fever yet and it hasn’t stopped me but it has slowed me.

If FDT is experiencing the same I would get hot baths, saunas, vapors, whatever to get rid of it but if it’s the kind of virus I have then it will take whatever time the immune system needs to beat it back.

Exactly, this is not strategy, it's flat-out incompetence and a sure way to lose.

Then as a Mitt Romney supporter you should be one happy camper...

You’re right, flip-flop is reserved for those that change their tune from one stop to the next based on political expediency.

FDT is sincere, he never changes unless it’s genuine.

Yep, the rest of the country is tired of the (mainly) NH and Iowa influence. We don't want the candidates to be four and five times across the same villages trying to impress the same seventy-five people. If Fred can help break the NH stranglehold, more power to him.

I have a great deal of faith in Fred and he will begin to break through all the ceilings very soon.

At Intrade, FDT is closer to breaking through the floor than the ceiling. The likelihood of Fred gaining the GOP nod has been trading steadily lower. At one point was high as 35%, now down to 15%.
