They have such a surprise in store for them.
I am writing regarding the "phony" story entitled "Rush Puts Spin On 'Phony Soldiers' Comment".
It was well known within hours of the inital "outrage" about Rush's comments that his two-word sound bite was taken completely out of context. Yet , more than 2 weeks later, CBS is continuing to spread the Limbaugh smear.
In addition, the implication that Rush will be making money off the ebay auction is again, totally false. A simple reading of the auction terms would prove the implication to be obviously untrue.
I would normally find such journalistic incompetence to be extremely troubling. Under those circumstances, firing the coward who would not put his/her name to this "phony" article would be justified. However, it is more and more evident that it is no longer a matter of incompetence as much as it is a deliberate attempt by the media to spread propaganda and lies about anyone who professes to have anything but liberal proclivities.
Name *****
Rio Linda, CA
I sent them my two-cents worth!
Yep, I sent them a barb as well.
“...Rush Limbaugh is trying to cover up his goof...”
Must be from the Rio Linda affiliate.
Say a lie often enough... and it becomes truth.
The Sacramento Bee is about as communist as a paper can get. They are in control of a lot of other papers also and other news outlets, yes, Sacramento is left wing to a large degree, at least the media is.
Here’s what I wrote: “Why don’t you tell the truth about Rush Limbaugh and the letter? He’s not making a red cent off of it. In fact, he challenged each of the 41 Senators who signed it and purportedly “support” the troops, to match the winning bid. Seems like $45,000 would be a drop in the bucket to megamillionaires Kennedy, Lautenberg, and Rockefeller. Your story is complicit in the hypocrisy of this Senate.”
Yeah if you lived in Rio Linda and wanted to watch CBS, that’s the station you’d turn to.
It actually has insanely small ratings. The one big local station in Sacramento, KCRA (NBC) has about 80% of the TV market.
That sounds like a nasty cold you've got there.
;-)
Did the Senators use Microsoft Word 1973 to write their letter?
Thanks for the contact address. I regestered my feelings about this piece of crap article (I kept it civil).
The FCC lacks even a mission statement - at least that I could see in a quick review - but I do know that licenses do periodically come up for renewal - this might be a good place to apply some pressure ... ;-)
This is the same station where one Chris Burrows “took on” Limbaugh over the ‘Barak the Magic Negro’ parody and a youtube.com video that Rush had nothing to do with. IIRC, Limbaugh had to threaten legal action against them...
