Stiiiiill Going (Michelle Malkin Leaves Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo in Her Dust)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | Monday, October 15, 2007 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 10/15/2007 10:18:35 PM PDT by kristinn

I’ve been writing newspaper columns for 15 years, writing books since 2002, and blogging since 2004. I’ve lost track of how many times the nutroots have gleefully declared my demise.

Oh, how they wish, wish, wish it were so!

The latest moonbat tempest in a teapot concerns an e-mail response I sent to readers over the weekend who have been asking about my absence from the O’Reilly Factor. I had received several hundred messages and it was wrong to keep ignoring long-time fans wondering what happened. I took the time to personally respond to each inquiry. It is an awkward situation, but I answered straightforwardly:

Thanks so much for your kind words. Much appreciated. I made the decision to quit appearing on the O’Reilly show in response to the poor handling of the Geraldo Rivera matter (in case you hadn’t heard, he threatened to spit on me because of my views about illegal immigration and his staged “apology” on The Factor was a complete farce). I won’t go into details, but please know that your support means a lot to me. You can catch me on other Fox News shows and read my daily blog posts and weekly columns at MichelleMalkin.com.

I did not plan on blogging it and making a big to-do. It is what it is. But some blabbermouth apparently forwarded the e-mail to a cable TV gossip blog. The left-o-sphere picked it up from there (interesting how all of these same blogs ignored the spitting threat in the first place), now spreading wild rumors that I’ve been fired, concocting imaginary scenarios of tearful resignations, tinfoil-rattling in hopes that there’s some other conspiratorial reason behind my decision, falsely asserting that it was somehow related to my coverage of the S-CHIP debate, etc., etc., etc.

The funniest comment by far comes from far Left zealots who couldn’t possibly believe that I would walk away from more airtime since I am, of course, such a media whore.

Two words: Stop projecting.

Continue to knock yourselves out, loons! Always glad to provide therapeutic benefits. Indeed, for many, it’s just another golden opportunity to wish out loud for my death or rape. See, for example: Digg.

Maybe you will get your wish and I will get hit by a truck someday. Until then, I’ll keep writing. You keep hatin’.

To hell with “Fair and Balanced”, to hell with equal time and the “Fairness Doctrine”.

Who cares what Alan Colmes thinks. Who cares what Jerry Rivers thinks? (and increasingly BOR)

“Fair”, is good enough, I have no interest in balance.

Good for Malkin.

After reading that e mail it pinged my awareness to read her articles more in the future.

Showed character with class.

If Fox News wants to be fair, they should give Michelle Malkin her own show. She presents arguments clearly and truthfully. There’s few people I respect more than her.

Mr. O’Really wants to look impartial but he needs to keep Fox’s attack mongrel Whoreraldo on a short leash.

I am telling all of you, should Hellary and the Clinton Machine be elected to the highest office, the rape and pillage of Republicans and avowed conservatives will run blood in the streets.

No real Patriot will be safe from the Clinton Jack Booted thugs as they march hell bent through everything near and dear to traditional America.

No amount of Social Conservatives being down on their knees begging for mercy will save them from the destructive force set lose to drive God out of America.

Can’t happen, ask Germany and Russia.

I’m a little burnt on billy boy, so I haven’t been listening on XM as much as previously, but I did notice her absence...

I’m disappointed that Michelle won’t be featured. Instead, the halfwit Kirsten will be on with Michelle’s new replacement (who appears to be a Kirsten-grade halfwit herself, so now it’s a fair fight). In fact, when Brian and the Judge feature Kirsten, it rapidly degrades into brain-fart and the judge or brian and the brain-fart, and I tune-out.

Geraldo won. Too bad. I thought Michelle hung tough during the Malik Shabazz ‘mouthpiece of the white man’ episode. But I guess she survived only to be chased off by Geraldo ‘mouthpiece for Mehico’ Rivera. (yes, I know he’s half-jew half-puerto rican).

Geraldo’s a clown. I’ve lost a healthy bit of respect for Bill if this is indeed what has happened. Michelle has the largest pair of any white man in America. She’s more of a man than Bill. I thought she handled herself very well in all segments and in hosting the show.

bla bla bla...ok, I’m done—too bad. Some months ago, I had wondered why Brian and the Judge didn’t have Michelle on there...maybe it ought to be suggested.

"Wow. Those folks on Digg are pretty messed up."

And they have their heads up their as$es too. Malkin didn't "stalk" the Frosts and she didn't post their address. In fact in her column she pointed out that some of the estimates from Zillow of their house value being 400K were way too high. I have to agree, just based on my own experience of living in Baltimore years ago. I know neighborhoods can change, but it used to be a real hellhole around Johns Hopkins Hospital. It doesn't detract from the main premise of the Frosts being phony po'folk though.

O’Reilly’s arrogance has been evident for a long time. His replies to emails pointing to his pomposity are laughed off with his smart come-backs. He ignores the messages.

Unless he has a very high level guest on his show, he barely allows others a few sentences before he breaks in and takes over with his own opinions. I view it as downright rudeness from someone whose head has grown way too big.

Where do we go on TV to find true conservatism?

Strangely, O'Rielly lets Whorealdo push the agenda on the show whenever he is on.

Usually the minute Whorealdo makes an appearance on any show we change the channel but the other night we were too slow and accidently caught part of an exchange between them. Bill tried to shut Whorealdo up over and over but Whorealdo just ignored him and kept prattling on.
Bill let him go for an extremely long time and only got a word in when Whorealdo ran out of air.

Whorealdo is very aggressive when he gets near an open microphone and the hosts just about have to wrench it out of his greasy paws to shut him up.
He seems to be dominating time on the O'Rielly show and I know it has to be costing FOX viewers.

O'Rielly should change his motto to:

"The Spin Stops Here (Except For Geraldo)"

To make matters worse, about the only time Lauri Dhue is now on for any period of time is with Geraldo, which is a despicable shame!!!!
Lauri is highly watchable but we dislike Geraldo even more than we like Lauri.

We call them "Beauty And The Beast".

What do you think will happen to conservatives next, once the gutless weasels on the left realizes we can’t defend ourselves any more?

I heard Rivera’s apology to O’Reilly about Malkin.

I thought it was a media apology, and there’s no way ever to judge sincerity with these people, so I just left it at that.

I never really liked the venues in which Malkin appeared on OReilly, except when she was the substitute host. I don’t care much for the standard, so-called debate: “Here’s the subject. Here’s the liberal talking head viewpoint. Here’s Michelle the conservative’s viewpoint. Here’s Bill to break the tie.”

If I were looking for a truly fair media type to be the tiebreaker in discussions, it wouldn’t be OReilly. The “No Spin Zone” has become the O’Reilly Propaganda Zone.

So Geraldo is truly an old radiclib.

Jeroldo Rivera is:

Illegal immigration apologist
Supporter of Socialism
Name-dropper
Huckster (see Al Capone’s vault)
Narcissist

He’s at his worst when he tries to do a serious news story. How he does it with a straight face is beyond my comprehension.

Don't forget the obsession with celebrity news and car chases, plus the fact that they're actually bringing that charlatan Jonathan Edwards (the other one) back on the air.

Other than Cavuto and Hume, I find little reason to watch Fox anymore. Even with the slant to the left, CNN simply produces a superior hard news product. Sure, you have to use your BS filter, but you should be using that with all television.

Still, call me naive, but I'm actually optimistic that the Fox business channel will be an improvement. Maybe they'll sneak the real news back onto that channel.
