Seeing Al Gore so deservedly share the Nobel Peace Prize...

Yep, Al Gore undoubtedly deserves to be in the same company as Jimmy Carter and Yasser Arafat.

You would think that the left wing press would give some props for standing up to the chicomms and honoring the Dali Llama, but noooooooooooooooooooo, gotts stick with the script, and the script is to bash him every chance they get. Anyone with clear eyes (liberal or conservative) can see their pathetic bias on parade.

**Gore lost the presidency, but in the dignity and grace with which he gave up his legal fight, he united America.**

No Richard Nixon united America when he didn’t challenge the buying of an presidency by JFK’s dad in 1960. I bet Friedman has never written an article like this about Nixon.

So why did Algore and Bubba, those big environmentalists, refuse to raise CAFE standards while they were in office, Mr. Friedman?

Just askin'.

How can one man be so wrong about so much in one column?

For sheer pig-headedness, Friedman has set a new standard.

Proudly, no doubt...

I believe Al Gore is insane and his insane rantings should be relegated to the trash bin.

Many on the left are insane.

As the author of this column has so clearly demonstrated.

Yeah right, He gave up the fight after losing in the supreme court. He gave up the fight because he didn't have a leg to stand on.

That author is a frikin’ joke! Bush freed 51 million from brutal and horrific oppression. Gore? None!

Next!

White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security

In the wake of the TW800 explosion, Algore received a special commission from Clinton to investigate and improve airport security. Forgive me for wondering why improved airport security would be a need if the explosion was actually caused by defective wiring in the main fuel tank...

Algore's commission drafted and proposed a package of truly draconian security measures -- which would have virtually shutdown air travel in the U.S.

However, when the airlines came up with an $800,000 donation to the Democrats, the commission's recommendations were somehow buried...

Yes, it's a scandal. Just another one of the Clinton Scandals that the MSM couldn't bring themselves to investigate.

Yes, but Bush has the infinitely more difficult task of dealing with real life - not a fantasy world.

Since this was written for a Seattle newspaper, the Mt. St. Helens Volcanic Eruption Barf Alert (MSHVEBA) is appropriate.

That, plus large eruptions tend to cause cool weather. :^)

Gore does more than Bush? I guess if you only count accomplishments achieved while in the buffet line.

Once global warming is legislated and regulated, there will be no getting away from it by anyone, anywhere. Regulation enforcement alone will double or triple the cost of maintaining the infrastructure, and it is all for nothing, accomplishing nothing. As usual, California will accomplish it first. My sympathies.

Planet Friedman is a strange place, much like in superman’s Bizzaro World.

The opposite of everything he said is true.
