BREAKING NEWS: the California Appellate Court could not bring themselves to say that Hillary was a felon; they allowed her to remain protected by California's anti-SLAPP law in the business fraud case, Paul v Clinton. Two ACLU lawyers led the interference for her.

HOWEVER --- HILLARY IS GOING TO BE FORCED TO TESTIFY UNDER OATH IN THE CASE. Peter Paul's counsel will file a motion in the trial court to get the approval to begin discovery.

Hillary, raise your right hand. Bill, raise your right hand. Chelsea, raise your right hand. Rendell, raise your right hand. McAuliffe, raise your right hand. Gore, raise your right hand. Wolfson, raise your right hand. Craighead, raise your right hand. ETC.

Get the beer and popcorn ready. This case is going to be heard in 2008. Discovery may well being by the end of this year.

The chief justice is a Gray Davis appointee. Davis is going to be called as a witness. Hmmmmm.

Under oath, Hillary's response is "I don't recall."

Nothing will ever come of this. Hillary is untouchable.

Wikepedia: SLAPP

A Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (”SLAPP”) was originally defined as a lawsuit involving communications made to influence a governmental action or outcome, which resulted in a civil complaint or counterclaim filed against nongovernment individuals or organizations on a substantive issue of some public interest or social significance.[1] It has been defined more broadly by some to include suits arising from speech in connection with a public issue.[2] This form of litigation is frequently filed by organizations or individuals to intimidate and silence critics or opponents by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense so that they abandon their criticism or opposition. The acronym was coined in the 1980s by University of Denver professors Penelope Canan and George W. Pring.

Rendell, raise your right hand.

Unfortunately, "Fast Eddie" Rendell is my Governor. His latest act of madness is trying to dragoon the state legislature into making Interstate 80 that bisects my state into a toll road. The only explanation for this corrupt poll being the Governor of my state is this, 80% of the voters in Pa. are mentally retarded.

Doug, if she remains protected by the SLAP law ... how is she going to be forced to testify in a court of law?

I am not a lawyer, so what is going to make her get on the stand and testify?

I’ll second that, Doug.

You’ll be needing to grow eyes in the back of your head, and don’t sleep in the same place twice.
