You nailed it.
All of you guys remind me of the LEFT WINGERS who make fun of PRESIDENT BUSH when he speaks. At least Fred is trying to make a difference. As for you, you’re only trying to stir up trouble with your hebetudinous insipid post.
Fred showed real class and resolve to say what needed to be said. I missed his moments with Hannity, but I understand he did well.
This is what it has come down to--many people want a camera pleaser--pick Romney or Rudy (or Ahnold, for that matter--you can see how conservative he has become)--they may show up more sophisticated and slick on camera. However, I would not vote for either unless to fend off the Hildebeast.
Reagan was a great communicator precisely because of his movie days and his lifelong political ambitions (started out as officer in actor's orgn., etc.) Unfortunately, another Reagan has not yet appeared. I hope we do act like Bama fans--getting rid of some good coaches while waiting for the second coming of Bear Bryant.
Fred SEEMS to be the most conservative, so far, and I think his negatives are being promoted and scripted by the MSM because Hilldebeast is deathly afraid of him.
Good grief! Can't we get past Hollywood? Does everybody have to go thru actor's school to get elected? You know the C's have been tutored by their good friends in H'wood, but that spoonful of sugar just won't make the medicine go down. It sticks in the craw..
vaudine
I am from the northeast, and lived in the midwest and now Texas. It’s sad an unfortunate to see/hear such parochialism.
In the end the president will have to represent all of America.
You’re the one who is sick.
“A charismatic candidate like Romney or Giuliani who expounds a principle of Big Government interaction in private business, health care, the environment, and morality as the guiding light”
Hypothetically true, but Romney is running on:
- low taxes
- limited spending
- Federalist and market approach to health care
- energy security
- pro Federal marriage Amendment
- prolife
- nominating strict constructionist judges
- building the border fence
and finally, has been citing the need for a nominee in the Reagan mold - one who is strong on defense, pro-family-values and for low taxes, lower regulation and less spending. It’s not a Big Govt agenda.
This Tennessean keeps waiting, and waiting, and waiting.....so far, what I've seen is not impressive. Fred seems like his heart just isn't in it and he's just going through the motions....
Man, thin skin.
In the SW, hacking on other men (and thier wives, mothers, children, religion, ethnicity, shoes, cars, job, weights, sports team, beer choice, and accuracy with rifle) is a fine art.
Oh, please. Tell that to the FReepers I've read who live in Massachusets and who have to live with Romney's idea of a "market approach to health care."
"Reagan mold," my foot. Romney was born and bred Big Church, so naturally he believes in the moral authority of Big Government. Also, border fences and Federal marriage amendments can only ever placate the public. They will only accomplish zero (except to comfort short-sighted voters) because they address symptoms, not causes. The CAUSES of both can best be addressed by advocating LESS government force and regulation.
Look, I may end up having to vote for the guy, but it'll be with my eyes wide open. I know the difference between a guy who is pro-business and "limited spending" by way of Big Government, and a guy who is pro-FREEDOM by way small government.
Im not a left winger, housewife. You need to get a brain transfusion.
Up yours Petronski
No thanks. I’m married and straight.
As far as your last statement, somehow I doubt it. Youre too indirect to be straight.
Just quit coming on to me and I’ll be happy (relieved). I have nothing else to say to you.
Knock it off.
Nice. :)
