Liberalism in my school

All God's Children (Mark Walton in Manila, Philipines)

Smokey Mountain in Manila, Philipines is a community built on a trash dump where over 25,000 people subsists "among methane fumes scavenging hope and survival from droppings of garbage truck."

For many children living in Smokey Mountain, the way out is death. Yet, for most Filipinos in Manila, artificial contraception is not a choice since 80% are Roman Catholic. For the orthodox, users of contraception are considered sinners "if they know it to be wrong, and understand it to be wrong." Natural birth control through the rhythm method (avoiding sex during period of high fertility is condoned by the Church). The Catholic religion is as influential in Latin America and growing in Africa too.

In Philipines, Marcos provided free family planning and health education, but in '86, Aquino who came to power with the help of the Church, funding for the program stopped and the supply of contraceptives stopped. They consider the problem to be not one of too much population, but that "too few control too much wealth."

It is beyond the competence of an NEA-brainwashed liberal Social Studies teacher to solve the problems in a Pacific Island culture. It's also beyond the U.S. Constitution.

Sounds like a liberal busybody with too much time on their hands.

If this person is attacking Catholic ethical teachings you may have a Civil Rights violation going on. Give the Catholic League a ping on this. Or The Thomas More Law Center.

Just as the push to “normalize” alternative sexual orientations is now obvious, so the push to criminalize Christianity and to make atheism the “natural state” is becoming really blatant.

Overpopulation is in the eye of the beholder. Consider all the European countries which are now in dire straits because of their native population decrease and their consequent importation of people from other cultures.

what happened to teachers not voicing their political opinions?

#####

Teachers with conservative views (there are some) obeyed the rule not to bring political opinion into subject matter; leftist teachers gave themselves permission to break that rule “because it was necessary!”

I doubt it - they need Western culture as much as they need capitalism.

When your culture places no value on female life except as breeders, females are then ... only breeders, with no importance to anyone. When your culture does not believe that medical care is important to the breeders so much as not being “seen” by a male doctor, then you have a “nasty, short, and brutish” life as Hobbes would say. If contraception gives these women some measure of relief in their lives, then I’m all for it.
