Nathaniel Brooks for The New York Times
James N. Tedisco, the Assemblys minority leader, with folded arms, with Assembly Republicans opposed to the governors licensing plan.
http://www.nytimes.com/pages/nyregion/index.htmlIMHO, the Times buried this story. I saw it there first. I searched under Spitzer to find it again.

This can be summed up easily: motor-voter which could result in massive voter fraud, all perpatrated by Elliot Spitzer.

Spurred by overwhelming public opposition
What is wrong with these politicians who keep pushing for amnesty and benefits for illegals?
The Dream Act is being voted on tomorrow in Washington.
Are these politicians so clueless or do they just not give a damn what a vast majority of the people want?

IMHO.... ...this is all a scam.
The Democrats will continue to do this.
Push what they want for the illegals, and then abruptly cease and desist because of the rabid opposition from 'the far Right'.
We're being played...and some of you are useful idiots.
After the election, you'll see how much they give a damn about opposition from the peasants.

They may have been trying to help him “save face”. I can’t see many trusting enough to give information that could get then deported at a later date.

...a debate laden with accusations of racism and demagoguery... Alright, which one of Huckabee, Chertoff, or Martinez addressed the NY Senate? :-)
Liberals - can't win elections with felons and the undead, now trying to expand the motor voter base of illegals. Next stop: provisional ballots sent to Somalia, Venezuela and China. I guess America isn't yet self-destructing at an acceptable pace.

Sorry. Can’t be more eloquent.

The answer to the illegal alien invasion will come from the bottom up. The fact that individual county clerks are suing spitzer over this is impressive. The fact that even more clerks are just saying NO and saying HE has to sue them is still more impressive.

QUISLING: a synonym for traitor, someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country.
Current federal law 8USC 1373(a) PROHIBITS SANCTUARY CITIES. It reads as follows:

U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,
and shall protect each of them against Invasion;"
Invasion: \In*va"sion\, n. [L. invasio: cf. F. invasion. See Invade.] [1913 Webster]
1. The act of invading; the act of encroaching upon the rights or possessions of another; encroachment; trespass.
