Yeah they want a raise for working less too. They’re below the “NEW” poverty level they set for their special class of government employees on welfare.

I’m sorry. Are they under the impression that what they’re doing right now is “work”?

Oh these bast*ards have worked for all the wrong reasons. Good thing. Maybe they should just shut up and go home. However...Republicans have finally stepped up and thwarted them.
This has a good and bad aspect.

They don’t work now; atleast for the American people. Yep, they need a paycut too. Big time.

Their pay should be tied directly to balancing the budget and cutting taxes. If they do neither, their pay should be cut. I would cut their pay by 15% every six months until they balance the budget..........without borrowing to do it.

Just a Suggestion, Botox "Nancy"/Reckless "Reid";
A) get out of Washington DC, GO HOME, STAY HOME
B) go part-time from full-time
C) take Hugh pay-cuts
D) take $$$$ from ONLY LOCAL groups w/full financial/in-kind contributions disclosure
E) MOST IMPORTANT....the penalties (all of below): immediate removal from office/fines/prison time/forfeiture of retirement bennies.

They need a concomitant 15% pay cut too. But this will allow them more time to diddle their DC doxies.

My solution to fix Congress:
Send them all home to their districts to stay. Let them videoconference their meetings and votes.
It would be alot harder for special interests to lobby them and I bet you would see a change in attitude with angry constituents in and out of their offices all day, every day.
There is absolutely no reason for them to be in D.C. anymore.
Let them stay home and represent the people who elected them.

Good idea. They also need a pay cut. No a better idea is to double their pay to NOT show up, and give bonus incentives to not pass new laws! Believe me, in the long run it will be a hellava lot cheaper!

Maybe we can make getting a tattoo of the 10th Amendment on the back of their hands a precondition to stand of election to the peopleâs Congress?
I know wishful thinking but still a lovely idea.
