If she can’t handle criticism in a debate without playing the Victimized Woman Card, she’s unqualified to be President.

Edwards and Obama did us all a big favor by going on offense and hopefully will continue their attacks. From Obama's stump speech yesterday, it seems he will.

If Hillary whines about being picked on for the remainder of the primary and still wins the nomination, then the GOP nominee has a wide open playing field to attack her mercilessly. He can just say, I'm not saying anything different than her own colleagues did about her.

People get very tired of whiners. It's not going to play well to whine about being the victim for a while year until the general election takes place.

IMO, Hillary played the victim card WAY too soon.

Question for next debate: "Sen. Clinton, your campaign claimed you were being "piled on" during the last debate. As President, if you make a tough decision that angers leaders of other countries and they criticize you, are you going to claim-on the world stage- that they are "piling on"?

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) top advisers, doing damage control after the candidate’s debate performance

Lady Rodham's absence from the cameras/mics is noticeable.

She should be out in front on this issue. She isn't. Her staff is.

That does not bode well for a wannabe future president -- to be hiding.

Where is Hillary?

Why isn't Hillary addressing this?

Would a President Hillary run and hide and send staff out to address any conflagrations or oppositions?

Ears Osama has been told to toughen up. Lady Rodham needs to do the same, as the real race has not even begun.

You can bet the DNC are concerned.

Hillary folds in an early debate. How would she do when the actual battle begins next year when votes actually count?

This flub on her part raises great concerns (behind the scenes) both for Team Hillary and the DNC. It raises the question: Is she going to be able to handle a run for the White House?

Is this the Hillery Scream or her JFKerry flipper moment? IMO, she has been winged and the inevitability of her in the WH has taken a BIG hit and opened a number of cracks in her facade that will enforce the thought that she is not fit for the Presidency or really any serious leadership role.
Timing is pretty good too, the Dims will have to cover for her since all their other candidates are just as bad!

>>>>Another Hillary supporter) said Russert “should be shot.”

Hildabeast supporters think journalists are not supposed to ask Hillary questions that she does not have pat, puff answers for.

With this performance and the lesbian stories, there will be something more, and big.

These stories always come in threes.

“If she can’t handle criticism in a debate without playing the Victimized Woman Card, she’s unqualified to be President.”

That bears repeating, over and over. Hillary doesn’t get to have it both ways. She can’t be a strident ballbreaker one minute and then whine that “you can’t hit a girl” the next. She’s either strong enough to be President or she’s not. And she’s obviously not, if “I’m untouchable because I’m female” is her modus operandi when the going gets tough.

If Hillary Clinton cannot handle Tim Russert and John Edwards, how could anyone expect her to handle Vladimir Putin and Hugo Chavez?

Those female voters are saying, “Sen. Clinton needs our support now more than ever if we’re going to see this six-on-one to try to bring her down,” Penn told those on the campaign call.

This raises the question how Hillary would stand up to muslim leaders in future negotiations. Muslim leaders certainly would not respect her gender.

Exactly. And the sexist drivel that keeps coming out of the mouth of her pollster, Mark Penn, is just insulting. He has opined in the past that women will vote for her just because she’s a woman and now says that women don’t like Hillary being “attacked” by men. She’s running for POTUS, not President of the PTA! And what happened at the debate cannot by any stretch of the imagination be called an attack.

That feminist sisterhood garbage is out of touch with Middle America and isn’t going to help her one bit in the general election, thank goodness. The smartest woman in America is once again proving she’s anything but.

“Those female voters are saying, “Sen. Clinton needs our support now more than ever if we’re going to see this six-on-one to try to bring her down,””

Penn is extremely sexist. Calling female voters, ‘those’ and treating us like we are backing Hillary simply because she is a woman is highly offensive. I would never, ever vote for Hillary and I don’t know any women who will.

She also has a problem in straddling the wide gulf between the radical left who are now her party’s base and far more centrist or right leaning voters like the Reagan Democrats. Clearly she has not done this nor likely could anyone given how far left her party has turned.

One wonders how many of the "Reagan Democrats" are _left_ any more, a generation later.

I would guess that after the Republican sweep of 1994, a good portion of them decided to cross the line and call themselves Republicans, and those that did not drifted back to their original Democratic ideology.

The problem _this_ election will be "Hillary's secret women". That is to say, independent and, YES, _Republican_ women who would ordinarily vote for the Republican candidate but THIS TIME will vote for Hillary, because she's a woman and it's finally a woman's time to win.

They may not tell you that, but close the voting booth curtain, and....?

I predict Hillary will pick up 8-15% of the votes of "registered Republican" women.

Old rules ain't gonna apply in this election. It's different this time. Not sure how to fight that.

“I cant wait for the beast to come unglued during a debate with Duncan Hunter or Fred Thompson.”

I hope that’s the case. If Rudy gets the nomination, we are in trouble. He may be kill her in debate but his dirty laundry will offset all his debating skills.

She was SHELL shocked...she expected Russert to throw ONLY softballs like ALL the liberal media have done with her for ALL these years...

THIS is the REAL reason she, and other democrats, would NOT take part in a Fox News debate...she KNOWS that she would get REAL questions and she cannot handle REAL questions.
