The HPV Vaccine: Government Mandates and Parental Rights
Capital Research Center ^ | November 2007 | Jana Erwin

Parents believe they have the right to decide what medical treatments are best for their children. But state lawmakers think otherwise because of a disease that has become both a feminist and a public health cause celebre. Across America lawmakers want to compel young girls to be inoculated against human papillomavirus (HPV) years before most become sexually active because there is a chance it can cause cervical cancer. Is replacing parental judgment with mandates by lawmakers and courts good for society?......

Legislators in at least 41 states and the District of Columbia have introduced legislation to require, fund or educate the public about the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. At least 17 states have enacted various HPV measures. The D.C. city council approved an HPV vaccine mandate in April, but council members who took office after the bill was approved are trying to repeal it......

Some conservatives and parents’ rights groups say requiring the vaccine will encourage premarital sex. Moira Gaul of the Family Research Council said her group opposes HPV mandates “because parents have an inherent right to be the primary educator and decision maker regarding their children’s health, we would oppose any measures to legally require vaccination or to coerce parents into authorizing it. Because the cancer causing strains of HPV are not transmitted through casual contact, there is no justification for any vaccination mandate as a condition of public school attendance.”......

State legislatures continue to consider mandatory HPV vaccination bills that intrude on parental rights. Merck’s lobbying efforts are a big part of that campaign. But last February after news reports that Merck was funneling money to an organization called Women in Government (WIG) to serve as the principal advocate for the legislation, the company publicly announced that it would no longer advocate for the mandate......

"Hillary is running for President in the wrong country. She wants all the rights while we have none. But we'll have "free" health care, right? And with that free health care comes involuntary abortion and organ donation, just to name a few things..." Here is the link to my blog post again, with html this time! Blog Post

Add to that population control and forced sterilizations and abortions, murder of "undesireables" because they are just so medically expensive, Control over a huge portion of the American Economy and you about have the agendas down pat.

Did you see Joseph Farahs editorial at WND yesterday:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58435

QUOTE:

It sounds like the Council on Foreign Relations is pretty gleeful about this demographic crisis to which China is heading. Is this the globalist plan for heading off the China threat? To force nearly a third of the world's population to live under conditions in which they don't even get to choose how many offspring they can raise? To force China's economic dislocation down the road?

On the one hand, Mead says China is making progress toward becoming an upstanding member of the world community. That's one reason we should worry about China becoming hostile. But, on the other hand, it's headed for a demographic apocalypse "thanks" to the one-child population control policies approved by the likes of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Can both these things be true?

We shouldn't worry about China because the Chinese elite are becoming nicer.

And we shouldn't worry about China because the nation is headed for a crisis that will leave it with a surplus of brideless young men in the population and not enough workers to carry the burden of an aging population.

Pardon me if I pause for a moment here and say: I don't get it. I'm a smart guy, and I just don't understand what this genius is talking about. Is he speaking code? Is he sending smoke signals that need to be deciphered by other members of the global ruling elite? Is the L.A. Times op-ed page one of the chosen vehicles of such communication these days?

Of course, apologizing for and excusing the bad behavior of the Chinese is nothing new to the global elitists. David Rockefeller, the founder and inspiration of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group had this to say in 1973 about Mao Tse-tung, the greatest mass killer in world history: "Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose. … The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao's leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history."

I believe the elites pushing socialized medicine, world government and all of these vaccines being given to people the world over are laughing all the way to the bank. If they can depopulate the world and have we the people pay for the it, all the while thinking that we are taking these so called "health care products" in the name of being smart and healthy...well you can see the perversity of that.

I see that we have some big pharma shills on this thread too. You people just don't give up do ya?

Come on guys, how much are they paying ya to shill at Free Republic???

Is it fun being a part of the death cult? Does it make you feel powerful? How big is the check you get every month?

Here is my blog post again, with better formatting: (The Drugs I need video is one of the main reasons to go to this post, it is hilarious)

In this Blog Post titled: 8 more DEATHS associated with HPV Vaccine: I said:

In the fight against cervical cancer, Merck is overwhelmingly winning the war against cancer.

Eight girls who were injected with that nasty cocktail of chemicals NEVER have to worry about getting that form of CANCER.

Why?

Because they are DEAD!!!

Anyone checked recently to see how much money Merck has made off the pelvic goldmine around this current vaccine scam? I'm too lazy to go look it up....but I think we can safely guess it is in the hundreds of millions.

QUOTE:

"Judicial Watch said it obtained documents from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration under the Freedom of Information Act detailing the new 1,824 cases.

Those cases include as many as eight deaths related to the vaccine, on top of the three deaths reported earlier among 1,637 earlier reports of adverse effects."

It is hard for me to understand, but they are giving this junk to PREGNANT women:

...The flood of adverse reactions during 2007 reported to the FDA through the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, included 347 serious reactions.

"Of the 77 women who received the vaccine while pregnant, 33 experienced side effects ranging from spontaneous abortion to fetal abnormities. Other serious side effects continue to be reported including, paralysis, Bells Palsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and seizures," Judicial Watch said.

And these numbers may not even include all the cases, Judicial Watch said. It filed a lawsuit this week against the FDA for failing to fully respond to its requests for information involving the vaccine.

Specifically Judicial Watch wanted access to correspondence between Merck and the FDA regarding the vaccine, communications between the FDA and GlaxoSmithKline, which is working on a similar vaccine, called Cervarix, and reports by consumers, health professionals and others regarding problems with the HPV vaccine.

When the organization's investigation into the HPV vaccine issue arose, and the first reports starting coming in, Fitton described it as "a catalog of horrors."

One earlier report, No. 275438-1, describes the reaction as coronary artery thrombosis, sudden cardiac death. "Given Gardasil vaccine dose #1 3/12/07. Collapsed and died on 3/26/07… Echocardiogram revealed very enlarged right ventricle, small left ventricle as well as large blood clots within both the right atrium & right ventricle."

Another report noted that the woman was vaccinated and "died of a blood clot 8 hours after getting the Gardasil vaccine."

Officials with the Abstinence Clearinghouse noted in a position paper that groups including the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine have come out publicly against mandatory vaccination.

"The reasoning of these medical associations is clear. They are not opposed to medical progress, and certainly support all efforts to combat life-threatening diseases. The problem, as these organizations see it, lies in the fact that the drug only went through three and a half years of testing, leaving the medical community somewhat in the dark as to what serious adverse effects might result in the long term," the group said.

"Along with the potential of serious adverse effects is the question of efficacy. There is evidence that after approximately four years, the vaccine's potency significantly declines. The long-term value of the vaccine has yet to be determined; if it wears off within six years, will girls and women need to repeat the battery of injections they originally received?" the organization wondered.

Michigan was the first state to introduce a plan to require the vaccine to be given to young girls, but the proposal failed. Ohio also considered a failed plan in 2006.

Then in 2007, after Merck's aggressive lobbying campaign and contributions to Women in Government, lawmakers in at least 39 states and the District of Columbia worked on sponsoring such plans."

Oh, the wheels of government just roll with the grease from Big Pharma!!!

How many young innocent girls will get squashed as that freight train rolls along???

We are at eight....and counting.....

Go Merck GO!!!

With one of the biggest, most expensive, rollouts in history....this guardasil could easily be called GIRLSweKILL.

Hey Politicians....does anybody give a rodents behind that innocent young women are being murdered by yet another bogus pharmaceutical product that they moved heaven and earth to FORCE us parents to give to our children???

The FREE market means that consumers are FREE to purchase those products and services they believe will help and heal children, not kill or permanently maim them with government nannies waiting in the wings to bully them into it.

Hey Merck, take you dope and shove it where the sun don't shine.

The parents should make the decision based on whatever criteria they choose. It isn’t my business, nor it is yours.

I agree with you about the whole mandate aspect. But I also feel that while people are entitled to their own opinions they aren't entitled to their own facts. And wrong facts usually lead to bad decision making. The quantity of misinformation about Gardasil is just staggering.

Your assertion is not correct. Since there are only 12,000 malignancies a year, CC is exceedingly rare. In fact, one of the rarest cancers only exceed by such cancers as esophageal carcinoma

Cervical cancer is only rare because of mass Pap smear screening. If we stopped screening the rate of cervical cancer would increase by a factor of 4 or 5. We do 60 million Pap smears a year in the US and of those around 5 million are abnormal. All these abnormal women require some kind of additional follow-up. So five million women need additional testing or treatment to prevent 50,000 cases of cervical cancer. When looked at that way the cost-effectiveness argument in favor of vaccination makes itself. And cost-effectiveness is only one reason to vaccinate.

Thank you for your comments and for you work with those who have cervical cancer.

Thank for the kind words. I'm a pathologist with a particular interest in cervical cancer prevention. Ironically, I just diagnosed another case of cervical cancer earlier this morning.

And wrong facts usually lead to bad decision making.

Many times, 'bad decision making' is in the eye of the beholder. And once again, whatever criteria a parent chooses for making a decision about a vaccine, particularly this one which is to partially guard against something not passed through casual contact, is none of our business.

"Thank for the kind words. I'm a pathologist with a particular interest in cervical cancer prevention. Ironically, I just diagnosed another case of cervical cancer earlier this morning."

And then ran to your computer to shill for Merck. How does a busy pathologist find time to be such a powerful druggy voice at free republic?

As I said above, if parents and young girls want to buy your dope, let them, but DO NOT come into my state and tell me and my two teen age daughters that in order to attend school and participate in life (camp, sports, community events) that we must take the risk as a family to submit to that injection full of nasty toxic chemicals and call it "prevention".

And don't you dare tell me I'm a selfish mother. I have been called selfish for not vaccinating for the past 18 years and I'm about sick of it.

I want my childrens bodies and brains to function properly. If I had caved to the pressure to vaccinate my five children during the hey day of the thimerisol scam, who knows how that mercury overload would have affected their minds and bodies. I'm currently watching families implode from the devastation of autism and the various psychiatric disorders tied to vaccines.

Sure, put your dope on the market Merck, but don't be surprised if consumers say No WAY, No HOW are you going to shoot that crap into my kids body.

Watch this video for a complete overview of the whole vaccine scam and its ties to global goals of population control. These people should all be locked up with the keys thrown away.

I hosted this video on my blog too.

And here is my whole autism/mercury catagory link on my blog

You are entitled to your opinions no matter how misinformed they may be. Ironic that you call me part of a death cult. I have spent a good deal of my life, saving lives of others.

If you actually took the time to read my posts, you would find that I have clearly stated several times that I do not support making this vaccination mandatory. Though you seem more interested in screaming your points and misinformation than in actually having a conversation.

I have read the CDCs assessment on the HPV vaccine, talked to several doctors that I work with, and did some research on my own. I believe, based upon all of those things, that this vaccination is safe and effective. I am glad it is available to those who choose to receive it.

I will have to skip your blog. I much prefer scientific evidence to the hysterical ranting of uneducated mothers without any social skill. Have a good day.

You know what? I have no association with Merck whatsoever and resent the implication that I’m an industry shill. In fact, I make a considerable portion of my income from diagnosing abnormal Pap smears and cervical biopsies and stand to potentially lose income if vaccination really takes off. I just really, really hate diagnosing cervical cancer, something I did as recently as this morning. I’ve diagnosed lethal cervical cancer in women as young as 25. And as for the other vaccines, people in this country are just too complacent. They’ve forgotten what it’s like to live with polio, diphtheria, measles and other epidemic diseases. But we’ll relearn what our grandparents had to live with in a hurry if we stop vaccinating.
