A civil rights group called P.U.L.S.E. called for an investigation after a noose was found at a Miami-Dade county building last month.
At a news conference Thursday, the group asked for diversity training at the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department after the October 12th incident.
P.U.L.S.E. officials said employees gave them photographs showing a noose hanging in a common area of the county water and sewer department building in North Miami Beach.
They believe this is a racist symbol directed at the plant's director.
Employees say they feared for their jobs, which is why they had not spoke out earlier.
Reverend Richard Dunn, P.U.L.S.E. president, said "The fact that somebody had the unmitigated gall to disrespect and disregard something that is so painful to African Americans, this is not to be played with."
The most recent incident of a noose showing up was against an African American professor at Columbia University in New York.
Miami-Dade police are investigating this incident.

These incidents almost always turn out to be frauds perpetrated by the “offended” party to get attention. I’d bet money this is the case here. I hope these clowns get caught and totally discredited.

Every day that dawns brings another absurdity.....
I, like you believe most of these incidents to be phony, but I also think that when investigations prove it, that those who commit phony "hate crimes" should go to jail. In the case of workplace incidents, they should be dismissed, and in the case of schools and universities should be expelled.
I know it's a waste of time to bring this up with modern PC idiots, but phony "hate crimes" are of themselves "hate crimes".
Is some group fighting for the muzzies position as most outraged group?
BTW, has anybody heard updates about the NYC noose incident?
There are just too many nooses hanging around. I believe that half of them are placed by people who think that “racism” doesn’t get enough press.
We need to geographically be tracking where these nooses(neese?!) keep turning up. IMHO, they will turn up on voting districts where the Dems feel things are borderline for them...and they’re trying to scare the black vote back “into line”.....

Pretty much my thoughts. Whenever I see a noose, I immediately think of all those old cowboy movies I used to attend on Saturday afternoons during my childhood.
(As one might infer, I lived during the pre-TV era!)
