“God Hates Intolerance”

This is the kind of lie that liberals try to replace Christianity with.

they never do when what goes around comes around. Those people are evil plain and simple and I’m glad the family of the Marine Hero won that case.

The Westboro Baptist Church should be glad the buddies of some of those fallen Marines didn’t call an airstrike in on that building.

Well put, and my thoughts exactly!

I wouldn’t put it past them to have done this themselves, though.

“Hate begets hate”

Is all hatred evil? No. There is righteous hatred, and the antichristical Phelps’s deserve it.

IOW, it’s about freaking time these worthless bastards started getting some of their own back.

"Considering who these scum-bags are, my money says that the “vandalism” is self-inflicted."

Of course it is self inflicted- The church members have more than likely lost the church in that $10.9 million lawsuit award, PENDING appeal, final judgement, ya-da ya-da.

All the Phelps folks had to do was convert to Islam. That would’ve been the end of it.

Horrible that this would happen to Al Gore’s buddy and fellow democrat.

Pycho-Fred and his psycho-followers have long since had a major falling out with Al Gore

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps

Support for Al Gore
Phelps supported Al Gore in the 1988 Democratic Party primary election. In his 1984 Senate race, Gore opposed a "gay bill of rights" and stated that homosexuality was not something that "society should affirm". Phelps has stated that he supported Gore because of these earlier comments. According to Phelps, members of the Westboro Baptist Church helped run Gore's 1988 campaign in Kansas. Phelps' son, Fred Phelps Jr., hosted a Gore fundraiser, which Al and Tipper Gore attended, at his home in Topeka. Fred Phelps, Jr. served as a Gore delegate to the 1988 Democratic National Convention. Gore spokesman Dag Vega declined to comment; "We are not dignifying those stories with a response." Let me go on record as saying this is probably the only thing I agree with Al Gore and camp on, but then Al Gore mislead the WBC and the WBC mislead the Al Gore campaign, and in the end, they deserve each other.

Opposition to Al Gore and Bill Clinton
During the 1992 presidential campaign, Phelps protested Hillary Clinton during a campaign speech in support of the Clinton-Gore ticket at the University of Kansas on October 14, 1992. In Bill Clinton's second presidential campaign, Phelps and the Westboro church also opposed Clinton and Gore because of the administration's support for gay rights. The entire Westboro congregation picketed a 1997 inaugural ball, denouncing Gore as a "famous fag pimp." In 1998, Westboro picketed the funeral of Gore's father, screaming vulgarities at Gore and telling him, "your dad's in Hell."

Please recognize and understand that these people just hate everybody just for the sake of hating them. They hate Catholics, Jews, other Christians and everybody else that doesn’t believe exactly as they do. And they blame every death and every natural disaster on those that don’t believe just as they do and attribute it to God’s retribution and I find that point of view pretty arrogant.

The WBC members are so vile and so hate filled, they even make the KKK look good by comparison. They are not Liberal or Conservative and they are certainly not Christian as I understand Christianity.

I wouldn’t doubt the Phelps themselves did this. They are media ho’s who love getting media time. I put nothing past this evil slimy cult.

I can’t wholly agree with any vandalizing against these lowlife scumbags, but I can’t feel any sympathy for them, either.

Hopefully, the Police will do an extremely thorough and intensive investigation into it, then recheck every step meticulously and continue rechecking, just to make sure they covered all areas. Say,,,, for about the next 30 years or so?

Personally, I feel their own misdeeds in violating the privacy and grieving of families of our fallen Heroes is far more egregious than spray paint on their walls.

Church leader Shirley Phelps-Roper

I've often wondered if she is related to Aryan Nation leader Billy Roper.

Well, in this case, they are not a church.

(I would’ve sponsored the cost of the spray paint.)

Good find...I Googleized that name (had never heard of him) and couldn't find any family tie; but certainly worthy of scrutiny.

A church can be anything. A building with no religious meaning, a building with religious meaning, a Christian building, a pagan building, a satanic building …. Etc.

In this case, they have proclaimed themselves a Baptist Church …

Anyone can proclaim themselves a Baptist preacher and name his church a Baptist church. Doesn’t make it so.

I’ve been a Baptist for over 35 years and have had the privilege to preach in many Baptist churches over the years and can, with all good conscience proclaim … I have never preached the garbage the pastor of this church has spouted and never would.

As a Bible believer, I find his brand of religion, un-biblical and very repugnant.
