Mike Huckabee: "Well, I think we have to look at culture change. Government cannot mandate health habits. People would resist and reject that, and it would be a disaster. What government can do is to try to create situations in which the incentives are there for people to take better care of themselves, not only for the obvious reasons that you feel better and look better, but that there would be financial incentives."

Does he have any “heavy-hitters” on his campaign team or are they all amateurs?
BTW, does anyone know why he’s never gotten that front tooth fixed? A PR guy told me that that could cost him 4-5 percentage points.

Hey-—if the left can have their slicks why can’t we? And please do not compare this gentle fellow with the devil himself Schlick.
My dad wore “I Like Ike” buttons.
I might wear “I Like Huck” buttons.

Why the front tooth comment? I do not know the man, cannot judge him, and; I am no one’s judge. Look in the mirror. Look into your own heart.

I want to like the guy, but he’s a global-warmist nanny-state socialist, and that’s a problem for me.

But we had Supreme Court orders that told us we had to spend more money on education.Okay. Add "coward" to the list of problems with Huckabee.
A real man would have said, "It's nice that a co-equal branch of government, the judiciary, wants more spending but I don't believe that mandating spending is part of the court's job description and so I therefore intend to ignore the Supreme Court."

???!!!! HARDLY!
From his website:
I’d like you to join me at the best “Going Out of Business” sale I can imagine - one held by the Internal Revenue Service. ...I am running to completely eliminate all federal income and payroll taxes. And do I mean all - personal federal, corporate federal, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment.
