If the parents consent I’m ok with it. Gangs recruit young kids and that needs to be stopped. If the kids don’t like it they can turn away from gang activity or they can move out!

I think parents should be able to search their children’s rooms at any time - or invite the police to do so, at the parents’ discretion.

I can’t help wondering at the motives of the “neighborhood leaders” who don’t want parents to have this assistance in preventing their children’s involvement in gangs.

But they've raised the eyebrows of several neighborhood leaders, who view the searches as intrusive and heavy-handed

Did they miss the part about parental consent?

The "neighborhood leaders" should butt out.

What the hell is a neighborhood leader anyway? I wonder if I'm one or am I just one of the neighborhood sheeple?

The ‘Escape From New York’ prison model looks better all the time. Just build razor-topped walls around the Democrat cities and let nature take its course. Strategically-placed monthly airdrops of food and ammo would help things along.

I've decided that I'm the "neighborhood leader". There are about 35 houses on my street and my street address is 1 Park Drive, Not only that but my last name starts with the letter "A"

If those two facts don't make me the neighborhood leader, I don't know what does.

I'm gonna start laying down the law around here.

These self-appointed "neighborhood leaders" better butt out of this one. If both the parents and the police department are OK with it. "Overlooking" gang membership is just another form of child abuse. Who the hell would defend that under the guise of "children's privacy"?

The parents need to step up and search their own kid’s rooms.
I have a problem with parents who think it is the government’s job to do what they (the parents) should be doing.
I also have a problem with a government agency that is all too happy and quick to do the parents job.

So, these parents are so out of touch that they need the police to search their kid’s rooms to tell them if they are in a gang? G*d help us!

Why don’t the Officers try going after the Drug Dealers and Kingpins? You don’t always need a search warrant and a big investigation to shut down sales of drugs..

All you need is a few dozen old Motor Homes, BBQ Grills, Portable Picnic Tables and a few of those plastic chairs.

Paint across the Motor Homes sides front and back
“Police Department” in letters that are 18inches tall with bright florescent paint.

Now go out and deputize a few thousand citizens. Have a reserve officer and 2-3 Posse members man each Post 24/7

Don’t say diddley to the Drug Dealers just watch.. You are not harassing them or violating anyones civil liberties.
Put out out the Picnic table when the weather permits and play card or monopoly. Each player in a Level III vest, helmet and a M4 or shotgun beside them.

You can openly note anyone who stops by.. Just Gather Intelligence.. If you can.. I suspect the drug house will not be open for very long..

Each time they move you follow or you stay there while someone else sets up at their next location. The purpose is to drive them crazy. By not interacting with them directly you make it terribly difficult for them to bring any legal actions against you while increasingly shutting down their criminal enterprise.

Once they start shooting at the Police Motor homes because they cannot do business you can kill them if possible or capture them if you are unlucky.

There is a place for undercover operations and warrants..doing the above will just be the anvil you can use to force them into making mistakes and misjudgments.

Oh and seriously concurrently I would work to secure a few old Supermarkets (Large Buildings) and turn them into “Rehab Facilities” where addicted persons could go for help. Get them on Government provided drugs to further strip the Dealers of their customer base. Those with
addictions like Meth would have to remain at the facility while high.. Those like heroin addicts on Methadone could leave the facility under certain conditions as is done now.

Drive them crazy and take their initiative. Get inside the enemies decision making cycle and stay there..

It really is a lot easier done then said.. All that is needed is the will.
