Momentum Built For Cheney Impeachment-(Kook To Force Vote On Impeachment On Monday!)

Congressman Dennis Kucinich says he will offer a resolution to the House of Representatives to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney.

The Democratic lawmaker who will introduce his privileged resolution next week said on Friday that the momentum is built for Cheney's impeachment.

"Millions of citizens across the nation are demanding Congress to stand up against the Vice President's abuse of power," Kucinich said.

"The Vice President continues to use his office to advocate continued occupation of Iraq and prod our nation into a belligerent stance against Iran," added the US presidential hopeful.

While the American media has decided to keep Kucinich's announcement on a low profile 54 percent of the Americans are in favor of impeaching Cheney according to an American Research Group survey conducted last July.

Analysts believe the number of pro-impeachment Americans is on the rise due to Cheney's hawkish policies towards the Islamic republic.

Found several sources for this story, including Google News and the Minneapolis Star Tribune, but this was the best headline!

Other sources (Kos) says he will move to force a vote on Impeaching the Vice-President on Monday.

That it was picked up and headlined by Iran's English-language Propoganda organ says a lot, as well...

I think we have found next week's Action Line, to take the MEdia eyes off of Hillary's disasterous dabte.

(Hysterical laughter-OFF)

Momentum is building means he has a possible co-sponsor who will second the motion just to get rid of it.

I could slouch this off if it was a minor offense, such as lying under oath/perjury. But in this case, Cheney is guilty of protecting America against Islamofascism, clearly something impeachable according to 'Rats.

So which is the more appropriate response from the VP: “Bring it on,” or “Go #$%@ yourself”? I imagine he’ll just ignore the whole thing.

I still bet that on January 20, 2009, there will be signs posted demanding the impeachment of Bush/Cheney at the inauguration of whoever wins the next election.

Should it be a Republican, their names will be on the signs as well.

Do you think the DU will waste more of their high quality champagne this time? I hope they didn’t use all their good stuff on Rove last May 12th. I would hate for them to use the cheap stuff on another heartbreak. They should lonely use the very expensive ones. It brings out more joy in me with they get run over by reality they have been suckered again.

I hope someone has the censure and expulsion motion ready based on Kook’s use of Congress for a campaign stunt.

BULL. 54% of Americans don't even know who he is.

However 54% of Americans can name every winner of American Idol, the song they sang to 'win' and who was runner up.

In short - 54% of Americans are brain dead sheeple.

What was the question?
“Given two choices, which would you prefer:
A) Listening to Congressman Kucinich discuss UFO’s?
-or-
B0 Impeaching the Vice-President”
