Hillary Wins Only If GOP Surrenders?
No Compromises ^ | 11/5/2007 | Jefferson Paine

Don’t let anyone fool you into believing that Hillary Clinton is the odds on favorite to win the Presidency in 2008. To the contrary, the next heir to the Oval Office is the GOP’s to lose. The following is my case.

Undoubtedly, Mrs. Clinton will win the Democrat nomination for POTUS – in effect, she’s already won. How can I be so confident? Because she’s got the one thing that no other Democrat running has – the brand name ‘Clinton’ – and it simply cannot be overcome on the Left. Their base sees this “two-fer” as more than enough to win - and Democrats are desperate to win the Presidency.

Witness the phenomenon of John Forbes Kerry, Vietnam War hero. Remember when he strutted victorious from the Iowa caucus in 2004, whipping out his uneasy, crooked salute? Without knowing hardly anything about him, like dominoes the Democrat rank and file robotically fell into line until he had the party’s nomination quickly wrapped up.

But, as we know, his Presidential bid was ill-fated as Democrat dreams fell prey again to his arch-nemesis, and utterly incompetent George W. Bush. Why did Democrats so blindly put up such a lame contender? Here’s the dirty little secret: It’s because Democrats are not very discerning about their candidate, because just about anyone can be anointed as their Thief-in-Chief. On the Left, where fascistic group-think makes it easy to control their base, all that is needed from the candidate is simply hardcore pandering, grand promises of free goodies, and a reason to jump en masse on the anointed Democrat’s magic carpet ride all the way to those verdant White House grounds. Kerry fit the bill early, and the ‘Anyone-but-Bush’ automatons got in behind him lightning-quick and never let go, despite his sophomoric rival’s ‘Don’t-mess-with-Texas’ campaign.

“I have a couple of candidates I like better than the others but I’m willing to support any Republican (except Ron Paul) against Hillary, period.”

That’s how I used to feel. Bush because if not you get Gore. Bush because if not you get Kerry....but no more. I have finally concluded that I’d rather see this country plunged into a Hillary dictatorship right away, rather than wind up there anyway after years of suffering incremental socialism on an ever increasing scale at the hands of the social liberals the GOP keeps choosing for their candidates.

No more. Let them put in a real conservative, and back him, or let them lose. If we’re going to throw this country away, let’s stop messing around and “get-r-done”.

Welcome to FR.

The GOP can win this election by making sure that Rudy does not get the nomination.

We cannot win with a candidate that we expect people to hold their nose for.

Thats just a fact. If Rudy is at the top of the ticket. GOP loses.

There is no difference that makes a difference between Rudy & Hillary.

Any republican who insists on Rudy is throwing the election to Hillary.

As a retired chaplain, I want to know why you would not do anything in your power to stop Hillary from being president.

It is an honest question and deserves an honest answer.

1. Giuliani's record makes him no different than Hillary. He is not a conservative of any variety. He is a full-blown radical, in-your-face liberal.

Therefore, Rudy is a full-blown liberal. He cheats on his wife(ves), he dumps them when he wants - loudly, publicly, and cruelly - and he has shown us HIS BRAND OF LOYALTY.

He will dump the conservative RudyBots before the soundwaves die from election night.

Hillary and her corruption NEEDS Rudy to run against her.

No, he isn’t my candidate. When it comes to next November, however, whoever is the candidate against Hillary gets my vote. To do otherwise is to be a fool.

Hillary does not need Rudy. If the election were held today, she would win. Yes, there is a great deal wrong with him, and I don’t want him as the candidate.

But your attitude shows that you really don’t understand the danger of Hillary Clinton.

Giuliani is an equal threat from a different direction.

Rudy has been annointed by the mainstream liberal media from the outset. If they get away with that, and if CONSERVATIVES vote for this, we will never see a conservative candidate again in decades. We will destroy this slim majority we have in favor of life on the Supreme Court. We will toss this country to the hounds of immorality, sadism, socialism, and deviance.

Whether Hillary or Rudy, they will lead this country straight to hell.

And, see the tagline.

Hillary has a lock on the Dem nomination. It is a coronation. Neither Obama or Edwards or Richardson ever had a chance. They are just stage props to appeal to the various Dem constituencies. The fix was in the day she announced her candidacy.

And they need to come up with the right immigration bill that they can propose to the Hispanic voters

And what might be in that "right" bill? You saw the reaction in NY to Hillary's driver's license gaffe. Pandering to the Hispanic vote will lose the election for the Reps. Our position is the one favored by the vast majority of the American people. The Dems are the ones who are between a rock and a hard place on this issue.

The good news is that all of those people that "punished" the GOP for various failings may have been right afterall. The spectacle being put on by pelosi, reid, schumer, et al is absolutely priceless.

I can't imagine a more effect campaign for the GOP than the actions of the dim majority this past year.

Shhhh! Don’t upset the cafeteria conservatives who pick and choose their pet one or two issues to support. They don’t want to elect a candidate who’s socially, fiscally, and militarily a total conservative......./s

If Hillary gets in, she will change the rules of the game to insure a Dem majority for decades. You are hopelessly naive to think he is as bad as her. Again, I don’t want him as the candidate. But to allow her to get back into the White House is to destroy this country as we know it.

You worry about what Rudy would do to the Supreme Court? Are you kidding me? Hillary could appoint another three Ruth Bader Ginsburgs.

I don’t mean to personally insult you, but you have no idea what it will do to this country if Hillary is back in charge. No idea whatsoever.

I’ve been around a fairly long time. I might have an idea, and it is only different in nature of depravity what Giuliani will do, not in degree.

Respectfully, we are agreed that Giuliani shouldn’t be the Republican nominee. Who are your top 2 choices? Let’s labor to get one of the conservatives nominated, and then this other food fight will never become a reality.

1. Duncan Hunter
2. Fred Thompson

Because Duncan, a truly great American whom I have met, is not getting traction, I am going to work for Fred. I think he is probably as close to Reagan as we are going to get.

But if my choices don’t make it, I am not going to go home whining. Hillary will destroy this country. She will do things you will not believe and challenge someone to stop her. Who’s going to impeach her?

In our film, HILLARY! UNCENSORED, we have compelling information about the compromising of all three branches of government in the investigation of the greatest campaign finance fraud in history.

I understand principles, and I fight for them. At the end of the day, no matter who is the GOP nominee, he has to be supported to stop Hillary. To whine about not getting all we want and we will show the GOP -— IS SUICIDAL! Teaching the GOP a lesson puts her in a position to destroy the GOP. Make no mistake about it, she will do that. She will institute the fairness doctrine without congress. She will create unprecedented Presidential Directive Decisions and Executive Orders. She will legislate without congress and dare anyone to stop her. She will legalize 10 million illegal aliens, doing so without congress if that is necessary. Believe it.

In the history of this great republic, there has never been a danger like Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton. She will change this country forever.

This is not hyperbole. She will rule like a neo-Stalinist.

God help us if Republicans stay home and whine because they didn’t get what they want. “We’re going to show the GOP” proves nothing. You might feel good that you showed ‘em, but at what cost? At what cost?

I, too, have Duncan Hunter and Fred in that order. I believe Duncan will shortly begin a media blitz, so I’m gonna withhold for about 2 more weeks sending cash to either one.

Nonetheless, I will not support radical liberal Giuliani.

I have detailed that Giuliani is a radical liberal, and I will not vote for a pro-death, pro-gay agenda, pro-gun grabbing candidate ever.

It will not happen.

To have such a choice that is no choice will be a sign that God’s judgment is about to fall upon America.

Hillary is vindictive and will get even with all who oppose her. She will shut down talk radio and other forms of freedom of speech. I don’t see Rudy doing that. I’m not a big Rudy fan but if he is the Republican choice - he has my vote.

Rudy has a chance of getting the nomination - Paul does not - and I do not class Paul as being anywhere on the Republican spectrum. He is a libertarian and a wierd one at that.

There are plenty of surrender monkeys right here on FR. Anybody who says they won’t vote for the Republican candidate who wins the primaries is supporting Hillary, whether they have the guts to admit it or not.
