Indio's Place
Indio's a funky watering hole in Mexican community
Bar/Club
915 S Cesar E Chavez Dr Milwaukee, WI 53204
From the Editors:
If your ethnic background is of the Caucasian variety, you might get a gravelly "que onda, gringo?" upon entering Indio's Place. Don't freak out; this "what's up" is usually accompanied by a smile and is merely the welcome mat at this Cesar E. Chavez Drive mainstay. Of course, it helps if you know some español, but bilingualism is not required. Indio's has two pool tables, a large hall for live music (Fridays and Saturdays; rancheros, banda and cumbia), Budweiser "Let's Fiesta" posters and bartenders who know how a Corona or tequila should really be served.

It's not much to look at, but you get the sense of being at your home... just BE NICE to EVERYONE, including Francisco... and you won't be introduced to his BIG mag-light!! al...
Looks like Whitedog57 might have gotten it right!
From that information, I’d guess that both the criminals and the victims are Hispanic. No way to tell who, if anyone, is illegal, though, without further information from the police.
Fear the Big Mag-light !
Not to be snooty - but Gringo is *not* a term of endearment to me — more like the N word.
We had a local taco joint that featured a “gringo taco” I asked where the other (deleted) tacos were listed. Got a blank look.
SAid, if your going to have a Gringo taco, don’t alos serve N() tacos
and so on. He knew exactly what I meant.
Haven’t gone back since.
