I agree with everthing you said. The thing that blows me away about conservative scorn regarding UFO’s is that most of the misperceptions about the subject are media-driven, using the same tactics with which the MSM vilifies conservatives.
As a conservative, and a logical person, it seems to me that applying the same standard would give one pause about how “crazy” the UFO subject really is. Heck, the first person to descibe the things in the media, said the objects moved like saucers skipping on water. The reporter ascribed that to their shape, not their motion.
They started distorting the issue, consciously or unconsciously, even then.
Jerry Brown...Mmmm, haven't heard that name in a while.
He's no good, he's no good, baby he's no good......I'm gonna' SAY it again, He's no good, he's no good, baby he's no goooood.... ; )
JMO, and no my name isn't Linda.
Oh, well, those are the ones that aren’t faked. LOL
Uh, because it's unidentified.... it's flying.... and it's... an object? Wait... Is this a trick question?
That certainly would explain why both major political parties in this country are so hell bent on pushing us toward one world government.
But since you brought it up, I'm pretty sure some cultural commentator linked it [UFO sightings] to filling a cultural need.
For instance, look at what passes for popular entertainment nowadays, mostly BDS and anti-common sense crapola. The public's had it's fill. Though, with the WGA strike, I'm not sure reruns and more "reality" shows are going to fill anything.
Any way, this stuff goes in cycles. Probably a reaction to the "humans cause GW" hysteria, and all the other liberal pap.
Hey, what’s us nutbags gotta do? LOL
Can’t say as I know anything about stealth blimps. ;)
There are some things which may be deduced by the lack of such clear photos, but an abundance of eyewitness testimony form those of extremely divergent culture and circumstance.
Some consistencies exist between UFO/alien reports and spiritual discussion.
The observation of UFOs in remote areas might indeed be based upon human research, but it also might be based upon design principles gleaned from nonhuman sources.
Even if military organizations aren’t the legitimate source of such efforts, there definitely exist people who believe in such existence and have no qualms in seeking power and control from any source.
LOL.
Well, I have a telescope to set up for tonight. All you folks and normal people be good and have a nice evening. Anyone seen the comet? :) Look North East, lower than Cassiopeia (the big W in the sky that ought to be to the left of the north star after dark)... just below and kind of easterly.
He must be balding and painting his hair these day's. ; )
At ease FRiend, "there's no need to fear" (Wally Cox impression) it's UNDERDOG!
See ya. I gotta go get my meds adjusted, so I’ll bid ya’ll adieu, as well.
Exactly right. Conservative ideas are dismissed with a joke. So are ufos. There have been thousands of sightings since 1947. Most can be explained. A few can’t, and some of those were seen by highly qualified, stable, people.
There’s something out there.
What about those who have seen not UFO’s..but actual Flying Saucers? Has anyone ever opened fire on one, so as to attempt to prevent its escape?
They have been fired on many times. The US and Soviet military have both shot some down. The truth about what is going on is hiding in the open. The media laughs, the government covers up, and the band plays on.
People living near Lancaster, CA, used to see a craft matching Symington's description (huge, slow-moving, delta-winged) quite often. This was when nearby Edwards AFB was being used for advanced flight test. Today this function has been moved to Groom Lake, in the Nevada Test Site, so that's where the UFO sightings have concentrated since.
I wouldn't doubt that some testing of craft like this involves taking them for an occasional spin in urban areas. Let's all hope that this craft, whatever it is, will be over there looking for bin Laden someday soon.
