If anything this writer is making the case that the laws need to be enforced even more vigorously before the situation gets worse.

This guys editors need to call this jerk out...how is demanding and expecting that laws be enforced going to threaten “an infitada”? We pay taxes in return for the rule of law. He is inciting riot and revolution.

That is EXACTLY what the left wants and intends. Class struggle leading to civil unrest. In the ensuing confusion leftist politicians take power and take the country into a communist paradise.

Let’s not forget to be thankful to the Americans who have contributed to this situation...the ones who have helped lure illegals here for jobs and to steal social services.

Let’s not forget those who’ve advocated right here on this forum that these criminals be allowed to stay.

Who, you ask, would do such a thing? DCPatriot.

I fully support the illegals in their efforts to create an Infitada against the citizens of these United States. Being of Hispanic decent, born in the USA, I can understand their plight and hunger for a better life.

To that end I will help them. When they begin to protest or riot, I will be there. To load the buses for the survivors, and cover the dead left in their wake.

You see, there is a cause far greater at risk here, and the nation that bore me, nurtured me, educated me, gave me a chance that no other country on earth can do, is my cause. It's colors are red, white and blue. It is the nation ALL want to be part of, and few are worthy of.

Bring your 'infitada', I will be there, with my fellow patriots to answer you.

Sigh… So much BS, so little time…

From the article:

The rapid escalation of the U.S. anti-immigration hysteria -- fueled by ratings-hungry cable-television hotheads and leading Republican presidential hopefuls --

First, while it may be a dangerous trend, it not fueled by ratings-hungry cable-television hotheads and leading Republican presidential hopefuls -- Rather is fueled by people breaking the immigration laws of a sovereign nation that is entitled to set its own policies for who may and may not cross its borders.

…is a dangerous trend: It may lead to a Hispanic intifada that may rock this nation in the not-so-distant future

The only way it would rock this nation is if law enforcement fails to do their sworn duty and uphold the US Constitution and the duly passed laws of the land.

We are creating an underclass of people who won't leave this country and, realistically, can't be deported.

First, we (the law abiding citizens of this republic) did not create, and are not creating, the problem. It was created by those individuals who would flaunt the law and demand that their crimes be not only, ignored, but rewarded. As far as not being able to deport the scofflaws, the obvious question is: Why not?. There are no obstacles other than political will. By simply diverting the resources currently being spent on providing public services to these criminals, there would be plenty of money to accomplish the task. Furthermore, based upon the overwhelming public sentiment, it would seem that the “legal” voters have such a will. All that is required would be to cut the political panders out of the publicity loop.

They and their children are living with no prospect of earning a legal status, no matter how hard they work for it.

This assertion is certainly not true. All that is required is that these illegal aliens return to the country of their origin and apply for “legal” immigration just like any other law abiding person would.

Leaving aside the fact that nearly half of the undocumented immigrants came to this country legally, and overstayed their visas, their non-compliance with immigration rules should not stigmatize them with the label of ``illegals.''

First, there is no documentation offered to back up the spurious claim that nearly half of the undocumented immigrants came to this country legally… Therefore, why should anyone believe this spurious claim? Second, why should not violating the law “stigmatize” those who violate it? Isn’t “violating the law” what creates a “rap sheet” and the term “ex-con?” Are these not “stigmatizing” individuals who have earned these distinctions through violating th law? Overstaying your visa is a violation of the law?

You may have violated a rule, but that should not make you an ''illegal'' person.

No, but violating immigration laws can, and does, make you an “illegal alien.”

You may have gotten a ticket for speeding, but that doesn't make you an ''illegal'' human being…

Such a speeding ticket does make you subject to penalties under law, up to, potentially losing your privilege to drive. Similarly, violating immigration laws should make you subject to penalties under law, up to losing your privilege to remain in the country.

…even if the potential harm of your reckless driving is much greater than anything done by most of the hard-working undocumented immigrants in this country.

Is the potential harm of your reckless driving greater than that posed by Latino gangs and drug smugglers? Is the potential harm of your reckless driving greater than the harm of the closure of emergency rooms because the cost of providing medical services to illegal aliens drives them out of business?

This is what the lberals are hoping for. The purpose of the article is to encourage violence, and blame it on the Right, just as the Brownshirts instigated riots and streetfights and blamed it on the Left.

They didn’t erupt in their home countries, so they are unlikely to erupt here in any meaningful way, for the same reasons they came. They like the money, the freebies and the freedom they have.

Those that do will only succeed in being deported.

If we are going to have a race war, better to do it while the advantage is on our side. This BS has got to stop—we can’t have people breaking our laws then threating a “race war” when we start (however tentatively) to enforce those laws. Frankly, I think they would STFU if we ever REALLY started to enforce the law. That would mean mass arrests at these Illegal Immigrant rallies.

Cool. Our solders address Al Queda intruders in Iraq and we handle illegals here in the US.

Odd, isn’t it? Our own government is breaking the law. They should be arrested. Maybe that would change a few minds.
