Whenever some group wants to legitimize their cause, they think it apropos to liken their inconvenience to what Blacks went through during the aftermath of slavery and segregation. They use the phrase "civil rights", which is code for Black people. One minor point: there is no comparison, thus any attempt at such is a disgrace and insult to every Black person in America, and his or her intelligence.
Many in Bay Area call anti-bias measure an act of betrayal San Francisco Chronicle Staff Writer Leslie Fulbright Thursday, November 8, 2007I dont want to sound insensitive, but why do we always have to be sensitive towards the feelings of others? In the case of the transgendered, can they not understand that what may be a change or choice for them, may result in the disruption of any workplace. People are people. People try not to stare, but to be honest, very few of us would not view this as normal. Since the "change" requires radical surgery, it is not.National civil rights organizations are celebrating the passage by the House of legislation that would add "sexual orientation" to a list of federally protected classes, but some San Francisco groups refuse to take part in the party.
The vote Wednesday on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, also known as ENDA, postponed several times, was ultimately revised to remove protection for transgender workers, which upset gay rights groups here and across the country. Democratic leaders said the removal was necessary to get the act passed. But more than 300 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender leaders opposed the exclusion, saying it is unfair and sends the wrong message.

Too be perfectly honest I tend to feel a mixture of pity and disgust for those who willingly mutilate themselves.
Does that sound any better?
Homosexual perverts are not blacks either.
Should not stereotype all blacks.
I agree with the author about being insulting to blacks. After all, being black is normal among the human population. Mutilating yourself is not normal. One does not equate to the other.
Until they can change chromosomes, a man with an innie is still a man, and a woman with an outtie is still a woman.
You should really try to find some different friends!
;-)
I love it when the self-proclaimed “victims” fight each other over whom is the bigger “victim”.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
What about the trannies who are black?
I think the ones that have gotten traction from slavery in the past are likely going to be very disappointed to find no sympathy in the future! You have gotten all the milage out of slavery you are going to get. The Press and the Media are dying in the USA! Welcome to the internet! here you will be find the view is not exactly what you are used to seeing in the MSM
nice post.....we have a neighbor who is a neurologist at Vandy and his wife always claims he is discriminated against at airports in the US since he is Lebanese Catholic and Arab ethnicity
only in America could we invent yet another victim class ...this time a Caucasoid doctor making 500K per year at one of the world's most prestigious hospitals
cry me a river.....discrimination and the worst thing in the damned world
Maybe you should stay out of the tranny bars.
I love it when they embarrass each other.
So what color, orientation, handicap & gender or combination thereof makes one the most aggrieved victim of all time?
We call them homos in my neighborhood, and then sleep like babies.
thank you for saying something that really needed saying
