Colorado Springs, El Paso County, is one of the most conservative cities/counties in the US.
It sits next to Pikes Peak, the weather is lovely, and if you have a techie or military background, you should not have a problem getting a job.

In spite of our toe-tappin’, men’s room-cruising senator, just about anyplace in Idaho is 20 years behind the times and as conservative as you’re going to find.

I live outside Pocatello which is one of two dhimmiecrat strongholds (the other being where all the rich Kalifornicators live in Sun Valley). That’s it for the entire state. And Poky is STILL more conservative than 95% of the rest of the USA.

All that and our economy is booming.

Oh, and please keep this a secret (shhhh we have enough out-of-staters): in many parts of Colorado, while the nights are pretty darned cold; we have many warm days, even in winter, even after snow. It is not unusual to see people in a sweatshirt and shorts in wintertime, out riding their bikes. My husband points out that you can ride motorcycles most of the 12 months a year here.

Yes, I know. Its a warm enough here in Salida that I still can wear a short-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts in early November. The 14ers to the west and the mountains to the north , east and south keep the climate mild year around.

Boulder got taken over by IBMers in the 70’s it it is probably the most like ny, new jersey. The governor is a liberal that was the district attorney of denver and had a 98 release rate for illegals. Western Longmont spanish is required. Colorado Springs has a lot of military and government jobs. Western slope has a lot of Chinese drill personnel. Ft Collins is the city that the university editorial said Taze this Fu## bush. Traffic is horrible in the front range. I don’t know why I haven’t moved.

Don't tell them about the banana belt here in Chaffee County at 8000'.

They wouldn't believe it any way.

Back in August I drove across southern Colorado along the Arkansas River from Canyon City past the Royal Gorge to Blue Mesa, I think it’s called. Maybe everybody’s a liberal but I don’t think I’ve ever seen prettier country anywhere.

The Western slope of Colorado is still VERY conservative in its politics. You have little "artsy" colonies like the one Dennis Weaver owns, but they aren't big enough to influence anything over there.

The Denver/Colorado Springs/Pueblo area is getting very liberal, very quickly. Douglas county (south metro area of Denver) is where most conservatives now hang out, but that is beginning to change as well.

Don’t worry about the snow and cold there. The cold is very dry, and the sun shines about 275 days a year. The perception is that it’s quite warm in winter. Quite often when the thermometer reads 20 degrees, everyone is running around in a sweater instead of the heavy gear you’d be wearing at the same temperature in New York.

It’s really God’s country. You know why they’re having all those problems in the middle east? It’s because God left the middle east and moved to Colorado for the skiing.

There’s no such haven for Conservtives in America anymore. Not since we are an extremely mobile society. Liberals will just move to attractive Red states after fouling the blue states they lived in. We have to encourage large ideas, fight the cultural marxists in the universities and hold our ground.
