To be on the safe side, never __ ever use a word that starts with an "N." "__".

"I know, but since Im unfamiliar with the names of LAs various districts, thats the closest I can get." Surely you heard the term "South-Central" somewhere in the media.

I had actually managed to do a bang-up job of forgetting that term. Thanks for the reminder.

Okay, you're a member! The password is "Neener, Neener, Neener!' The counter pass is "Nuh-uh!"
To: South40
Well, then they should ban the terrible C word. Cracker.

I look forward to their also banning the “H” words, Honky and “Hymietown” and Hillary’s favorite “Jew Bastard”.
I’m sure those will pass also.
It’s good to know our noble lawmakers and esteemed leaders are hard at work doing really important things. I'm sure the entire country "feels" better now.

What’s the “N” word? Nothing, nobody, nifty, or nutcase?

It’s hard to believe that Parks was actually the L.A. police chief.

And ban “Cracker” “white bread” “honkey” and a few others. What? You say it won’t happen? You mean this jerk is nothing but a white-hating racist?
To: South40
The word connotes a lazy person with no self respect or regard for family, a person who is ignorant, stupid, slow moving, does not speak proper English and has childlike qualities, Parks wrote in the resolution. That describes Jesse and Al to a tee.

What's really frustrating is when a movie uses it in such a way that the plot nearly turns on THAT WORD - and then, when the movie airs on network, something else gets substituted.. I was watching The Longest Yard where the dreaded "NNNNN"word was bleeped out several times, but you sure could hear cracker loud and clear.
To: beezdotcom
I was channel surfing earlier, and was surprised to see/hear on one of the cable channels the movie “Bad Boys II” with Will
Smith and Martin Lawrence, and they used the n-word ALL OVER the place! And it wasn’t censored out! Could it be that the infamous n-word is nudging into the mainstream and will cease to be a ‘hate’ word before too long?

Then all the black youth will wind up in prison. Some day we'll look back on this as the same kind of wackiness as women parading into bars with axes and busting things up in the name of "temperance". Ha ha ha.

Bans a word, but does nothing on sanctuary. Dope is too kind for this boob.

I cracked up when someone called me that once.

"Its hard to believe that Parks was actually the L.A. police chief."And it's even harder to believe he is now an LA councilman.
Total mediocrity is still on the ascendancy in LA government. Parks is a total zero, as are most of what passes for LA city officials these days.
