OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) -- A 13-year-old illegal immigrant who fled to his native Mexico amid a sex scandal with his schoolteacher could be eligible to return to the United States under a new visa the government started granting the week before he disappeared.

The visa helps illegal immigrants who are victims of sex crimes. If the boy, who spent most of his life in Lexington, Nebraska, qualifies, he could stay legally in the United States for four years and eventually apply for permanent residency.

It also would extend temporary residency to his parents and his unmarried siblings under 18, if they applied for it.

"It's a win-win," U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services spokeswoman Marilu Cabrera said of the "U" visa. "It helps us and law enforcement be able to solve a crime, and it certainly helps the individual who is a victim of a crime."

HUH?

Ah, WHEN did this happen?

It’s “NEW”.

Who snuck this through?

Upside down insanity. Borders? Soverignty? Citizenship? All replaced by the travesties of the one-world crowd and their perverted liberalism.

Yes I thought this would happen...

This new visa for “victims” is fraut with opportunities for fraud...

Especially when the whole family of 200 members can benefit...

What is to stop an illegal alien from being an undocumented “victim”?

What about the teenage dope smoking illegal? How can we figure out a way he and his family can stay. Maybe the Undocumented Americans with Disabilities Act should kick in for him. Obviously the poor boy is suffering from a substance abuse problem.

Seems reasonable to assume that those who worship the law should be rejoicing that a criminal will be prosecuted for her crime. Instead, all I see is the renting of garments and weeping and knashing of teeth.

Oh, this is a case of a U.S. citizen committing a heinous crime rather than an illegal alien. Nevermind.

That’s what I want to know.

Who authorizes this stuff?

Whose signature in on the paper and what law gives them authority to give away American citizenship to illegal aliens?

If you read the full article, it states that "The Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000" established "U" visas to encourage illegal immigrants to report crimes against them. A law enforcement agency, prosecutor, or judge would have to vouch that the boy is helping their investigation for him to qualify.

We're all for reporting crimes, I think, and for establishing justice, I believe.

There's a tough call for you to make: "Do I want to see a sexual predator prosecuted? Or let her go scott-free as long as a Mexican can't acquire legal residency?"

The boy must be a hero to his pals - not only did he get to screw his teacher, he got rewarded with US citizenship! I remember how horny I was when I was 13 - something like this would have been my wet dreams. But since I was a legal immigrant back then, i probably would have been sent to Juvie instead of being granted a citizenship.

Take a look at his smile in the link.

My prediction is that there is going to be a big rise in “sex abuse” of “illegal” boys in the coming months.

Where does one go to escape this madness!?!!!

Instead, all I see is the renting of garments and weeping and knashing of teeth.

What you refuse to see is the law not being applied to illegal aliens in this situation who are criminals.

Oh, this is a case of a U.S. citizen committing a heinous crime rather than an illegal alien.

This is a case of one person who is charged with a crime and those who have committed crimes by entering the the U.S. in violation of our immigration laws.

I'm in no way a fan of any human being being victimized by another, but this program creates an incentive for illegals to be victimized...

none of the news reports detailed if they performed safe sex. I thought that the schools nowadays were all about teaching safe sex.
