His rationale for signing the bill giving drivers' licenses to illegals is interesting

Utterly amazing how these pro-illegal immigration folks tap dance around the issue. If all the illegals were deported, there would be no reason to have driver's licenses for them. Richardson has got to be one of the dullest knives in the drawer. I also found his responses to questions about Iraq down right comical. He completely ignores the successes and demands we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. What a moron!

It's hard to argue against Richardson being the choice for V.P.

I'm sure he was ordered to run for the nomination by the Clinton Crime Family. With Rapist42 as the Shadow-VP... the position would be hollow... a perfect seat for a stooge.

I don’t buy it. Unless they have an ulterior motive for the ID (such as easier access to US benefits) why bother and take the chance of (il)legal exposure?

There's only one ulterior motive for the Dem's, that drives all the other actions -- they expect that the illegals with licenses will (illegally) vote, and vote DEMOCRAT.

At the time that I signed the bill, 33 percent drivers were uninsured. Today it's 11 percent uninsured. This law has helped. It's a matter of public safety.

Now, I also have a responsibility as a governor, you know, when the federal government and the Congress don't act, to protect my citizens. That's the reason I did it, as a matter of public safety.
