How can you have a "dear friend" who advocates taking, no, stealing, more of your money to give to ne'er do wells?

Those are enemies, in my book.

Oh, and btw, facts won't matter to the liberal. Forget it.

As I recall the National Organization of Women had a press conference when that scandal was at its peak. The head of the organization at the time was Patricia Ireland. There was a press photo of the board of NOW standing “shoulder to shoulder” to announce there support of the guy.

Spend some time on Google, you’ll find a flock of fems defending him around that time.

Hillary was the biggest, blaming it on the VRWC and using her thugs like Pellicano to threaten Kathleen Willey. I seem to recall Gloria Steinem writng an op-ed in a major paper saying it was OK. She got a lot of ridicule because it amounted to a feminist “free-grope” rule. I also remember Bill Bennett on some TV panel show getting attacked when he stated “if you’re going to rape a woman, be sure you are pro-choice”.

Nine Burleigh comes to mind here. I'm not sure without further research though if she qualifies as a prominent feminist.

I recall the famous Gloria Steinem "one free grope" rule. She delared that it was okay for Willie to give a woman (Kathleen Willey?) a squeeze to the breasts, because he stopped when he was asked to. Here is a link.

Some more from the linked article:

“Yet from the moment former Arkansas state worker Paula Corbin Jones came forward in May 1994 with her claim of indecent advances by then-Gov. Clinton, feminists were remarkably quick to abandon the Anita Hill paradigm. On CNN, legal scholar and former Democratic strategist Susan Estrich declared that it was healthy for feminists to make the point that “not all women necessarily are telling the truth, and not every complaint deserves to be used in a way which destroys a man.” (Trying to neutralize charges of partisan hypocrisy, Estrich also noted, “Maybe we show it in the case of a friend of ours, but so be it.”)

Others who had supported wide-ranging definitions of sexual harassment in the past suggested that if Clinton indeed had Jones escorted to his hotel room, displayed his distinguishing characteristics, and asked for oral sex, it was no big deal. Katha Pollitt, the acid-tongued commentator for The Nation, noted that Jones lost no pay or promotions for rebuffing him. Eleanor Smeal, former head of the National Organization for Women and president of the Feminist Majority Foundation, opined that it was “a marginal sexual harassment case at best.”

...

“On MSNBC, Wendy Murphy, a staunch feminist victims’ advocate, caustically observed that it was ridiculous to “ask for $3 million merely because you saw a penis!”

feminists and prominent Democrat women who were very vocal about defending Clinton

Silence often provides the strongest defense.

Here's an interesting feminist article. It doesn't name names as "supporters" but it gives a spin to those who did support him.

Why do Feminists Support Clinton?

Remember when Clinton trotted out Donna Shalala and Madeleine Albright?

"Clinton did meet this morning with his Cabinet and afterward, his appointees voiced their support. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said, "I believe the allegations are completely untrue." Commerce Secretary William Daley added "I'll second that. Definitely." "Third it," said Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala."

Susan Estrich defended him. I believe Gloria Allred came out in his defense. And who was it that gave the lame excuse that he was okay because "in general" he was pro-feminism, even if he did commit the occasional faux pas? Was that Gloria Steinem?

That whole incident was a study in utter hypocrisy, and pointed out what a sham post-modern "feminism" has become.

I seem to remember one woman who proclaimed that she herself would like to perform a “Lewinski” on Ol’ Bubba, since he had done so much to support abortion. Just can’t seem to remember who it was, though,

Not sure if they’re feminists but those screaming the loudest included: Susan MacDougal, Susan Estrich, Sheila Jackson Lee, Geraldo Rivera and his panel of apologists, Maxine Waters, Barbara Streisand, Susan Thomason, Elizabeth Holtzman, Susan Sarandon, Barbara Boxer, Ann Lewis. The kicker was Pat Ireland President of NOW and other feminists who said because the Clinton/Lewinsky relationship was consensual, it was not sexual harassment.

Don’t forget the lib witch Nina Totenberg (?) on NPR that said she’d give krinton a kneepad job if he kept abortion legal.

One problem with your quest is that the feminazis remained silent during krinton’s exposure. That was a political decision with a two-fold purpose. First, they gave him a de facto pass by silent (and tacit) response. Secondly, they left no documentation to use against him (and by extention, themselves) should times change and historians look for evidence like that you seek.

I remember that one prominent “journalist” named Nina Burleigh said she wanted to give Bill Clinton a “Lewinsky” because he protected the right of a woman to kill her baby after giving birth to all of the baby except for the top of its head (aka “partial birth abortion”). Presumably, Nina was ready to give a “Lewinsky” to nearly every male Democrat Senator and Representative as well. Sheesh, what a pig.
