New Appeal
Appeal For Courage

Posted on 11/13/2007 4:22:52 PM PST by debbieargel

The new Appeal For Courage is up and running. Thanks to Jason! Please visit appealforcourage.org If someone can cut and paste the wording for me, much appreciated. It has been a pleasure to work on this with Jason. This needs to go out to every member of the military. Thanks in advance to the brave troops that sign, from one mom who knows the heartache. Please help out with pings and keywords. When we get enough signatures, this will be presented to members of Congress.

Troops may not sign on a government computer, or during working hours. Thanks! Deb

Here's a hot link: AppealforCourage.org

and here's the statement on the opening page of the site:

As military members currently serving our country in uniform, we the undersigned desire that, should we be killed or wounded in the course of duty, our names or images not be used to oppose our efforts in Iraq. Further, due to the distress caused to their families, we respectfully request a halt to the use of the names or images of our fallen comrades to oppose the mission to bring freedom to the Middle East and security to America.

I hope that everyone will get the message out so they can sign BEFORE they deploy, and when they get home. Thanks,
Deb

.

NEVER FORGET

.

The one thing The LOVE Itself needs more of in this world,

...for GOD is LOVE,

is more LOVE.

And that only comes when people are....

...FREE.

.

Making our American Soldiers who are fighting for the Freedom of others around the world,
those that train them and
their Loved ones who wait for them to come home or not:

...HOLY in GOD’s Eyes.

As they continue to selflessly put a broad smile on GOD’s Face.

Just for the LOVE of it.

Just talked to the founder of this appeal. YES!!! You can sign while you are deployed. This is a legal means for troops to express their opinions. I hope people will pass this on and give all troops the chance to sign. They can’t sign while on duty hours.
