An Hispanic man with no identification on him and who had fled an earlier wreck, was found in a wooded area after being ejected from his vehicle on Saturday night.

Chattanooga police and Chattanooga firefighters both responded to 200 I-75 around 7:12 p.m. and located the man along Interstate 75.

According to a witness, the man was involved in an accident at Shallowford Road and I-75. The man fled the scene of that wreck south on I-75. While doing so, he lost control of his vehicle, struck a guardrail, and was ejected from the Ford Explorer that he was driving.

He sustained serious injuries from the accident and was transported to Erlanger Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

His identity is unknown as he did not have identification.

Charges are pending further investigation.

Send Mexico the bill since they encourage illegals coming here.

Ship that bad puppy back to his country of origin fast, before he has a chance to heal up. It’ll take him longer to try to come back.

Prayers for him. And the others in the accident.

I’m traveling to this very destination directly. I’ve had to sit on I75 right there once before while they picked up some poor ejected person who was dead.

“Man In Critical Condition After Fleeing Earlier Wreck (in TN)”

During my first trip to the California DMV (Dept. of Motor Vehicles),
one guy standing with me in line said he was there to get a tag for
his new car.

Because his previous car was totaled by a suspect illegal that
fled the scene on foot...leaving the guy’s car AND the suspect illegal’s
car sitting in the middle of one of the LA freeways.

If only he had a drivers license, this tragedy could have been prevented!

There’s no news about any deaths, injuries from the 1st accident so it was probably just a fender bender at Exit 5 near Hamilton Mall...

Even if the driver has no license or insurance..why flee?

The fact that this guy got on the Interstate and fled from a small accident....

Yes the TN DL would have acted like a magic aura and held off all danger as he sped up and down the TN roads, with a .24 alcohol level...

The fact that this guy got on the Interstate and fled from a small accident....

...tells me that possibly he either is an illegal or had been drinking (or both). People don't usually run from fender-benders without good reason.

Erlanger Hospital’s reserve for uncompensated care just took a big hit!

The fact that this guy got on the Interstate and fled from a small accident.... strongly implies that he had (A) a BAC over the legal limit, or (B) warrant(s) outstanding, or (C) both. It is common practice in Mexico for people to flee and accident when alcohol may be a factor.

Pretty common in Tennessee for drunk illegals to kill Innocent citizens nowadays, too. I think the body count of Tennesseans killed by drunk illegals is up to about 30 or so in the last year. This doesn't include the number of Tennesseans that have been killed by illegals by other means, though......coming soon to a neighborhood near you.....

...tells me that possibly he either is an illegal or had been drinking (or both).

Or is wanted on other charges unrelated to the first wreck.
