Hillary's Obama Dirt: Obama Demands She Come Clean
Newsmax.com ^ | November 17, 2007 | Newsmax staff

As the Democratic primary draws near to the Iowa Caucus, the sparks -- and sleaze -- are starting to fly.

The latest mud: columnist Robert Novak reported Friday that "agents of Sen. Hillary Clinton are spreading the word in Democratic circles that she has scandalous information" about Sen. Barack Obama.

So what dirt does Hillary have about the Illinois Senator?

Novak says the details, so far, have not been disclosed.

Democratic primary campaigns can be particularly dirty. Remember Sen. Gary Hart's "Monkey Business" affair that was reportedly dredged up by operatives of his 1988 primary rival Al Gore.

Also remember the Gennifer Flowers scandal. Republicans get blamed for the "Clinton Hate Machine" -- but the truth is that the buzz against Bill Clinton was fed by Democratic operatives in the '92 primary campaign.

This time, Obama is on the offensive and quickly lashed out at Hillary.

This is something all the pubbie candidates need to push hard. If the Witch can be forced publicly to smear the country's first credible black candidate, it could be used to weaken the bond blacks have to the Clintons.

Memo to Fred:

One possible way to use this issue to both smack the Beast and boost yourself is to publicly speak out about those FBI files and the fact that she still might have copies.

He’s beginning to understand what happens when you annoy the Clintons.

Obama should be thankful that there was no need to grab his FBI file back when the Clintons were busily Xeroxing everyone else’s.

This is nice, by calling the beast’s bluff abracadabrah puts the crap in her pocket. If she backs down, he will be bullet proof for the rest of the campaign because anything thrown at him will automatically be thought to have come from her. Nice.

It's a good gotcha moment, but it will not prevent the Clinton blackmail machine from releasing the smear whether it's true or false. They'll just engineer the data dump to appear to come from somewhere else.

OTOH if it can be tracked down as originating with them...

You missed the most important point, though. After they use the dirt, they get the DBM to blame the Republicans.

Obama should be thankful that there are millions of Americans who are willing to vote for a moron like himself.

But what Fred should be doing is linking this talk of a Clinton attack machine aiming at Obama with the memory of those FBI files. It’s the right thing to do, because it’s wrong for Americans to forget what the Clinton WH did on this subject, and it could give a much-needed boost to his campaign.

At the very least he needs to be taking more shots at Hillary. Heck that’s all Rudy has been doing thus far.

Obama should be thankful that there was no need to grab his FBI file back when the Clintons were busily Xeroxing everyone else’s.

It's true they no longer officially control the FBI, but their use of blackmail did not start with the FBI files and it certainly didn't stop there.

Many Arkansas troopers have told of Governor Bill telling them to see if they could "find some dirt on" whoever was annoying him at the time. The Clintons also employ PI firms to do "opposition research" which isn't necessarily illegal depending on how you use the info that gets dug up. Blackmail and extortion are still illegal at least for a while.

One of their blackmail producers and occasional thug service providers is now in jail. A lot of people were hoping he'd turn on them, but IMO he knows better than most what would happen to him if he did.

We know about CREW and Media Matters search for and use of timely dirt. When they can't find any, Media Matters sometimes tries to generate it against honest talk show hosts. In fact we have no idea how many blackmail factories the Clintons actually have running, but I hope it blows up in their faces.

Of course not, “the campaign has NO IDEA what you are talking about!”
This is a glimpse of life under a Herself the First of Charlatan Monarchy. Secret police, intimidation, rule by fiat, the loss of any Liberty we have left, and no incentive to work. America would be just below the Congo on the list of free nations should this happen.

I hope Clinton Inc. releases the dirt and Obama replies with "so, look at what you did..." dredging up any of the numerous scandals from the 90s (Vince Foster, Ron Brown...).

Would this cause the MSM to look again at the scandals?

Perhaps they could burn each other down, leaving only Silky Pony to contend with.

Not that Cankles or BabyDaddy is a heavyweight by any means.

I’m no political strategist, but I’m wondering why FRed should tackle Hillary at this point in time when the rest of the crowd is taking care of that job? Why not let other candidates do that for now? Let Obama and the Pretty Pony and Rootie do the dirty work for now. I don’t see that attacking Hillary is going to benefit Thompson’s campaign right now. Strategery—that’s the ticket.

You may not be a political strategist - but maybe you should be! Excellent point!
