National front-runner Rudy Giuliani also drops in New Hampshire poll
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson has skidded into sixth place in a CNN/WMUR poll of likely Republican voters in New Hampshire, edged out by ex-Libertarian and anti-war Rep. Ron Paul and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
Fred Thompson has not been able to rally New Hampshire conservatives to his campaign.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney topped the poll, widening a lead he has held for months in neighboring New Hampshire, while Arizona Sen. John McCain and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani were running close in the second and third spots.
The CNN/WMUR poll...

Countdown to Fredsters claiming this is a phony poll by the Clinton News Network to hurt the most electable Republican (FRED!!!) and nominate the weakest (WILLARD!!) so that Hitlery can be elected president in ....5...4...3...2.....
See, now was that so hard ?
What a phony poll by the Clinton new Network. They are just trying to marginalize Fred who is the strongest conservative and promote Willard who is the weakest. HAHAHA!

Look, let’s get one thing clear.
Gloating over one or another candidate’s bad fortune is impolite, especially when the candidate in question is the strongest Conservative in the race. That kind of thing would be more welcome over at DU.
More... Fred thompson is not making New Hampshire a priority, that is clear. Granite Staters are clearly miffed at Fred for his inattention to their self-important primary. There really is no other explanation for the extraordinarily high negatives for Fred found in this NH poll.
Yet, how many New Hampshire primary winners have gone on to win the nomination in recent years? I think the answer to that question would make any candidate with no natural advantage there to apply his limited resources elsewhere.
I wouldn’t spend time there. The less of a race NH turns out to be, the more it will be dismissed.
Given your idiotic countdown in post 2 , it appears you don’t like the fact that there are so many dedicated Fred supporters around here .
Why does it bother you so much ?
N.H. is purely a battleground for the RINO’s . We should all be wary of the victor of N.H.
Fred is the strongest conservative but the Mitt supporters point out their guy has executive experience. The last senator to win the presidency was JFK

So you joined FRee Republic just to post this bunkum. LOL
New Hampshire has gone liberal and likes their RINOs.
In that he was elected Governor. His performance was miserable and he was a complete failure.
If that poll is just for NH, it could be that because he has written them off they are writing him off.
Given that, I would think Rudy would have 50% in column one.
No matter—it just reinforces that polls are worthless. LOL.
Yes... it is just NH. It is the poll that was linked from the CNN link of the thread.
Performed by Univ of NH and CNN:
