It's A Google Thanksgiving (Vanity)
Google ^ | 11/22/2007 | Torchthemummy

Take a look at Google's Thanksgiving cartooned logo.

Sitting to the left of the table is a turkey dressed as an Indian and to the right a turkey dressed as a Pilgrim.

Can anyone tell me what is actually on the table being served as the main dish? Looks like a cat but if you zoom the picture it becomes too pixelated to tell.

Looks like a bunch a a veg-ta-bules to me! Kind of like the ads for the fast food chain where the cows hold signs saying stuff like "eat mor chikin".

Checked it out with a magnifier i had downloaded long ago..At first i thought they were having Garfield..On closer look though, they are eating vegetables..You can see carrots-orange with the green tops, something green-maybe lettuce, something purple-a beet maybe?, and potatos with little eyes..The white you see is a bib that the Indian is wearing and his long belly-with Garfield’s reddish orange color looks like-Garfield..Makes sense that the two turkeys would be vegetarians..a bit of irony that the Pilgrim is offering the Indian a cup of something-maybe tea and the Indian is holding up something-straight and short and orange on a stick that looks like a u-shaped fork...

Actually, the 'Indian' turkey on the left has carved out and is holding aloft the 'Pilgrim' turkey's still-beating heart. The 'Pilgrim' turkey on the right is holding out a tin cup in hopes the 'Indian turkey will return his still-beating heart.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Google is a trade mark for the search engine. The number I followed by a hundred zeros is spelled googol.

Yes, you're right, but I think the name for the search engine was actually stolen from Barney.

A close up looks like turnips, orange squash and maybe another vegetable.

Here’s my favorite search engine:

Look at the graphic on the dogpile page.

I use this search engine quite a bit — and it’s getting better over time:

http://www.scroogle.org

Use the scroogle scraper.

Do NOT go to the .com site.
That is porn and not affiliated with the .org site.

Yes, a PETA inspired Thanksgiving. Or, in a Seattle school, a day of mourning. I would be mourning, too, if I had to eat that meal.

"The number I followed by a hundred zeros is spelled googol."

Unless being used as a transitive verb.

So, we have an Aztec Thanksgiving for the disabled? /Sarc

OTOH, if you look at Yahoo’s logo for long enough [or at the right time] the vegetables get up and dance around with arms and legs.

Really.

What's up with Drudge? He's got a photo of a PEACOCK for his headline with the word "Thanks" underneath.

At least as of 0827 Eastern. His page changes constantly.
