The US presidential campaigns are developing and pushing their policy opinions in hopes of winning the election in November 2008. The consultants and staff of the campaign that wins are traditionally incorporated into the Executive Branch and White House where they become official US policy-makers. CurrentIntel.com is a wiki that is starting to chart a "who's who" of the campaigns in an effort to determine who is influencing the candidates and what policy we should expect from the campaign that wins once they reach the White House with in-depth background on how the decisions by these campaigns are reached. Anyone may add or edit a wiki and participation is encouraged to make this non-profit wiki work. Visit http://www.currentintel.com/campaign_chart.ashx to add information you know about any 2008 US presidential campaign staff or consultant.

I had that idea six months ago here on FR.
I said, dont listen to what candidates say, study closely WHO IS ON THEIR TEAM AND WHO WILL BECOME ADVISORS IF THEY ARE ELECTED PRESIDENT.
The Campaign platitudes are nothing but PR manfactured talking points like selling soap.
When you analyze WHO IS SELLING THE SOAP you learn a lot more as to how that candidate will in face administer and government.
This is one of the prime reasons I am not convinced==at this point==about FRED THOMPSON despite him saying generally all the right things in the primary.
They might give some credit.

I know what you mean I was appalled when I heard a certain someone advertizing and using our troops as a booster for their future, just like using Thanksgiving a day set a side for our Lord to give thanks for our many blessings, and this great nation we live in, someone else seems to think it is ok to also to capitalized on it for himself how shallow!
Makes one wonder who is writting his policies?
Which one was that?
