>> “What is it again? Salt River rafting trip?” <<

Oh, my. I thought it was a rattle snake stew dinner with prickly pear ice cream and then a trip to the theater to watch the “Grannys on The Rocks” dance!

;-)(Snicker)

Let me consider that. I'm a big fan of the state and know it well. I suggest a Phoenix-Wickenburg-Prescott-Jerome-Sedona-Flag Route. Jerome is nuts. I call it "town falling down" as it does so every decade or so.

They were playing “Rocky Top” at the Palace while I was checking out the bar! (I did not ask for it)

I haven’t been to Jerome in more years than I want to claim! LOL

So much to do...so little time.

Do hope you can join in!

Thanks yorkie, RT written in 1967 in Gatlinburg and introduced to the VOL faithful with lyrics in 1972 during the Alabama game. :^)

One of the best songs ever written, IMHO!

I found a stuffed dog at a garage sale once - and if you squeeze his hand, he plays his guitar, dances, and sings “Rocky Top Tennessee!” He’s a favorite!

Ha! ;^) ,They wrote it in 10 minutes but without lyrics. It was a blugrass string from the heart. What a hit. (Glenn Campbell is one of my old time favorites also, No gratuitous mug shots please the rest of you). :^)

That video of Dinah Shore was taped three years before she passed away. She was 74 in that Rocky Top clip. (Hope I look that good at 74!)
