Pray for President Bush

Dear Heavenly Father, We rejoice in this new day and in Your providential care over us all. Though we have many things that often press upon us, many things which are stressful in our lives, it helps us just knowing that You are Sovereign and nothing can be brought into our lives without Your having a plan and purpose for it that is to our good and Your glory.

Lord we rejoice in Your care over our President. We pray Lord that he would be wise and prudent in all of his deeds. We pray Lord that he would not stray or listen to evil advice. We pray Lord that he would always stand on the side of what is right and that his way would be corrected wherever it is wrong - so that we may live good and peaceful lives in this land.

We pray for Israel, Father. The Anapolis meeting will call upon her once again to cede control of land to people who thus far have not lived up to their promises. Lord, let those present see the folly of this. Protect your people, Israel. Speak to the hearts of the Palestinians and the Israelis. And may they know that You alone are God.

Go with us the rest of this day. Be with our services and move in them so that others may know You.

For it is in Jesus' name that I pray these things, Amen.

Amen. Thank you Blogger for the invite to prayer for our President, our troops, Israel. The enemy definitely doesn’t want us rejoicing and I love your reminder that today, we get to rejoice in Him.
