Are you going to vote in the November 2008 election no matter who wins the Republican primary?

Posted on 11/25/2007 5:29:03 PM PST by cradle of freedom

I would like to know if you are going to vote in the November 2008 election even if your candidate does not win. Will you stay home if you don't like the Republican candidate?

Another thing that I have often wondered about is whether people actually stay home when they are disheartened. News commentators often say that some voters may have decided to stay home because they were not happy with the candidates. I think that is a mistake because even if you do not like the person at the top of the ticket you should at least vote for the other candidates. Have you every actually stayed home and not gone to the polls at all because you were not happy with a candidate?

This one is WAY TOO IMPORTANT to sit out or play games with.. I will vote Repub no matter who they nominate..

Honestly, I have always felt that a Hillary Presidency will end up leaving our country VERY damaged.

Just the thought of those “two” slicksters in the White House again, will guarantee my vote for the Republican nominee.

Rudy and Hillary are both liberals on just about every issue. The policy’s going forward under either President (GOD, help us) would be the same. The only difference would be the delivery and the hairstyles.

We still have time to make a difference in these upcoming primaries to upset the bull crap media hype that only Rudy can beat Hillary. I do not subscribe to the hype but some do.

So, I will not be voting for the fella with a different hairstyle but same open border, gun grabbing policy as Hillary.

Glad they have a write in. Maybe with a united front, we can all write in a better candidate (miracles can happen or just wishful thinking).

The beast still wins, but at least I participated in the process. LOL

And conservatives everywhere thank you for your sense of humor.

People who don't care enough to try to beat the Democrats are my enemies, Republican or not.

I want to vote for a true conservative, but if we don’t get one, I will still vote.

My vote will ALWAYS be for the Republican ticket, even if it’s a compromise....even if the republican is on life support and clinically brain dead.

To keep those filthy dems out of power, I would vote for a can of tuna fish, even an urn full of ashes, a cow-pie, a sack of dog feces....it won’t matter what’s on the ticket because I will never vote for the traitors...NEVER.

I may be a very angry man when I go into vote, but I would never stay home, as that would be the same as voting for the traitor party. I owe this vote to my children, my grandchildren and all of the Troops that have given their all... in my name.

I will vote in this election even if I am dead, as my Bride has agreed send in my vote, and to keep me in the freezer until after the vote, and the recount, and the re-recount, the re-re-recount, re-re-re-recount, the Supreme Court appeals, civil war, Global warming, Nuclear Holocaust and any other problems that the traitor party may put out there.

So, yes, I will vote...for a republican, period.

Yes, in fact I SHALL vote in the election, no matter who the Republican candidate is. And I will vote for ANY of the Republican candidates EXCEPT Ron Paul, because I think that in an age of intercontinental missiles and the internet, “fortress America” is no longer a viable international worldview. But I suspect that if he were to capture the Republican nomination, I would have several choices available for a minor party vote.

Giuliani is the same as Hillary.

This is just push propaganda to run the presidential before the primary.

Giuliani gives us

Hillary R vs Hillary D. the fact is Hillary D will beat any RINO.

Giuliani IS defeat.
Giuliani IS a problem.

If Giuliani is the nominee there is no point, If Giuliani is the nominee he has negative coat tails. Giulain has the same leftist associates, the same liberal leftist staffers (ala Arlen Specter), the same liberal leftist attitudes. I would even submit he is more law enforcement on the WOT than military solution.

So would I stay home after voting in every single election (local and national)? the honest answer is yes, I would be very very hardpressed to care or give a damn about such a pointless rino.

When it is Rhodham Giulaini vs Rhodham clinton there is no choice the race is over.

Bottomline: Every vote counts - maybe not as much as one would want but the feeling is mutual for any voter that resides in a state that goes the opposite way or, like yourself, is pretty much guaranteed to go the "wrong" way.

Thanks for the tip. I'm putting that in my "Unremitting Faith in the Face of Actual Experience" file.

I don't see Hillary telling a Saudi Sheik to cram his money where the sun don't shine.

Rudy may not be my choice, but he is a hell of a lot better than Hitlery.

Ask Vince Foster.

The choices are very clear

I fail to see the clarity between Rudy and Hillary. I can see the lesser of two evils argument (the "vote for Rudy to stop the beast" argument), but the difference between Rudy and Hitlery and NOT "very clear."

I’m just plain disgusted with the GOP and the pseudoconservatives that have infected it. In the days leading up to the last election we all sat around and laughed at the democrats because they weren’t voting for John Kerry, they were voting against George Bush. It was a losing strategy and we knew it.

My how times have changed. Now we hear nothing but panicked screeching that we have to beat Hillary no matter who goes up against her. It was a losing strategy when the democrats tried it and it’s a losing strategy now.

If, however, they nominate Rudy, I’ll find a non-Republican to vote for

And the DNC thanks you for your support.
