Italy's Open Border Problem
Human Events ^ | 11/27/07 | Stefania Lapenna

Sardinia, Italy -- A girl verbally insulted and then killed by a Slavic-speaking person who used the tip of an umbrella as a murder weapon . Dozens of villas assaulted by a mix of Morroccans, Romanians and Albanians in northern Italy. Shop owners murdered at random. This is but a part of the very long list of criminal events Italians learn about on an almost daily basis when they turn over the pages of newspapers or watch the morning and evening news. The common thread linking these crimes is the fact that all of the perpetrators were in Italy illegally.

... snip

The US has always been example of a nation that holds law breakers accountable and this has contributed very much to keep social peace. On the other side, not only millions of Mexican aliens were allowed to settle with little or no opposition over the last few decades, but they're imposing their traditions, culture and heritage, as well. What will remain of our countries?

I think America is still in time to rescue herself, but it takes more than mere electoral promises.

Are US politicians scared at the idea of fueling social tension by imposing the respect for the law? I wish they could carefully look at the Italian situation, hoping that it could teach them a lesson: on the long term, coddling illegal aliens will pave the way for civil unrest and the loss of sovereignty to criminals, who will ultimately rule our cities. Italy's likely to become a Third World, Muslim country in the not so distant future. Even if its leaders wake up now (I doubt they will) it's probably too late. America can make it. I’m still betting that it will, but the 2008 election may be its last chance.

More Americans killed by illegal aliens than Iraq war, study says

When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.

Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%

Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

Wanted for Murder in New York City.

Chicago wanted for Murder

Philadelphia wanted for murder

San Francisco wanted for Murder

New Orleans wanted for Murder

Pictures of suspects wanted for murder in Washington DC

FBI USA 10 most wanted. (two of 10 are Mexican nationals)

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.

Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article.

To look at other USA cities go here http://stlouis.fbi.gov/ and replace stlouis with the city you want.

No surprise. Italy is a long peninsula and a short boat ride from north Africa.

I’ve often thought this. It has the longest coastline, therefore will be the first to go.

Its very difficult to defend (see WWII, the Saracen invasions, the Norman conquest of Sicily, the Spanish conquest of the South, etc.).

I was just in Spain, and their main problem areas are the territories of Ceuta and Melilla, which are politically part of Spain, but geographically surrounded by Morocco. They built a wall similar to the one that congress voted for a few years back, but a few Arabs and Africans get through. There are African child prostitution rings operating in Madrid and Barcelona right now.

As a source of "cheap labor", they have been giving preference to immigrants from Latin America (with Ecuador, Peru, and the Dominican Republic being the largest sources)and the Phillipines who can prove Spanish fluency.

Which brings us back to Italy, as there has been a large influx of South American immigrants into said country over the past 15-20 years. Initially, it was Argentinean and Brazilian immigrants who could prove at least one Italian grandparent, but non-Italo South Americans have been coming in. You now see many Ecuadorians working on construction sites in Rome and Milan, and Peruvians working as nannies all over.
