Yes, Duncan Hunter is always there to make things right for the country, no matter how rigorous and time consuming his campaign may be. Too bad he seldom gets any credit from the media for what he does.

Robert McMahon has no cause to be upset- the film is a resounding flop. In many places, it only played for a week, including San Fransisco. The American people have rejected it by acclimation.

Exactly.
Michael Medved talked about this when he first learned of the movie being filmed.
Muslims are the target audience that the film was produced for.

It is zero stars.” ... “I honestly was close to vomiting when I saw the film.” ... “It is a slander on the United States of America.” ... “Everyone associated with this film ought to be ashamed.” ... “Will it inspire future terrorists? Of course it will!”
That’s prominent movie critic Michael Medved on the new film “Redacted.” Lest anyone think that Bill O’Reilly’s recent outrage over the film is an overreaction, Medved tells Bill, “It’s worse than you think.”
I heard that this piece of trash and others like it — Lions for Lambs, etc. — are being called war porn! How apt.
Maybe all the producers of this trash will go bankrupt making movies that no real American wants to go see. I’m not even going to watch it when it comes on ON DEMAND. And DePalma will never get a dime of my movie going dollar either, nor will Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise or Robert Redford, or anyone else who wants to make movies that put our men/women in uniform in bad light.
They just don’t get it. But maybe they’ll go broke instead.
So either they are terrible judges of the market, which is unlikely, or they are not really losing money on these projects.
To take the first possibility first, I don't think their judgement could be that bad. Sure, they release a stinker every now and then, but they hit the target much more often than they miss. For every Ishtar there are a dozen Chevy Chase movies that made back their investment and turned a tidy profit. But they have made horrendous losers eight times in a row here. There must be an explaination.
Which brings me to my second possibility. Perhaps they are not losing money. Perhaps they are getting paid to make these films by somebody other than ticket buyers at the box office. Perhaps there is some person, or a group of people, who want to influence American public opinion on the War, and are willing to funnel $100 Million to various Hollywood producers to make movies to make that happen.
It is a more plausible scenario than the supposition that eight different Producers and hundreds of other supporting personel suddenly forgot everything they had used to build up their businesses over a lifetime of work, and all had the same stupid idea at the same time. These movies are all deal with different aspects of the Iraq War, all portray the US unfavorably, all seek to sap our will to fight, and are coming out at roughly four-week intervals, right through the US Presidential election.
Under the current campaign financing rules, there is only so much money you can give to an anti-war candidate. So what is somebody with a Billion dollars sitting around who wants to influence US public opinion to do?
Of course, this scenario means that one person did make a really big mistake. The person who thought Hollywood had the power to dictate public opinion and that whatever clap-trap Hollywood threw up on the screen would be eagerly consumed by the US population made a major miscalculation. And for that mistake, he has thrown away his money and will receive nothing in return.
Which is not a bad result, when you get right down to it.
Well reasoned Gridlock and certainly within the realm of plausibility. Undoubtedly the MSM will get right on this.
On another note, I was COMPELLED by my niece to watch this evening’s finale of “Dancing With The Stars” which would be a first for me. Try to imagine my reaction as I saw “Mark Cuban” introduced to perform as one of the already eliminated duos.

Just saw the trailer, and it stated; “Also Coming soon on Magnolia DVD”. DePalma wants to make sure his message gets out there.
We do know that Mark Cuban is one of the people who is paying Hollywood to make these films. I’m sure a little digging would turn up some other names.
