While some past pronouncements of world-changing inventions haven't exactly panned out as promised, this latest one will at least have a pretty large stage on which to prove itself, with none other than Al Gore and others paying £1,000 or more apiece in the audience.

Now there is a ringing endorsement.

If Al Gore the billion heir thinks enough of this project to invest £1,000 just to be in the audience I have got to go.

NOT

"It would be 80 per cent cheaper than any alternative means of production, and it will contribute in a major way to reducing climate change."

It's a horse! Produced cheaply and cheerfully by workers who enjoy their work.

What do I win?

How many liberals on private jets, burning tons and tons of fossil fuels, are attending this party.

Naturally, they are going to save energy and help the price of oil with getting to/from the party...

Price of oil, after party, priceless!!!

Unveiled at a swanky dinner?
It’s either a steam table, or, to make it literally
a “new material”, an energy-saving tablecloth that glows like a giant flourescent bulb/

No. I think it is something else.

“a Super Material,” adding that, “It would be 80 per cent cheaper than any alternative means of production, and it will contribute in a major way to reducing climate change.”

It’s a GIANT PATIO UMBRELLA that will be hoisted above the Earth to help keep the temperature even.

Re: Gore’s mouth and butt plugs.

These actually could be useful. If the mouth plug were to be attached to the heating system he could heat his house with the hot air and if the butt plug was connect by a gas line to the water heater the methane he produces could heat his water... and you would have to add an artificial odorant to either of them.

As per :

“Researchers believe that some versions of aerogel which are made from platinum can be used to speed up the production of hydrogen. As a result, aerogel can be used to make hydrogen-based fuels.”

I presume?
