More gay men describe sexual encounters with U.S. Sen. Craig
Idaho Statesman ^ | 12/02/07 | DAN POPKEY

David Phillips. Mike Jones. Greg Ruth. Tom Russell.

Four gay men, willing to put their names in print and whose allegations can't be disproved, have come forward since news of U.S. Sen. Larry Craig's guilty plea. They say they had sex with Craig or that he made a sexual advance or that he paid them unusual attention.

They are telling their stories now because they are offended by Craig's denials, including his famous statement, "I am not gay, I never have been gay." Those words, spoken on live national TV on Aug. 28, are now memorialized on a just-released-for-Christmas Talking Senator Larry Craig Action Figure.

David Phillips is a 42-year-old information technology consultant in Washington, D.C., who says Craig picked him up at a gay club in 1986 and that they subsequently had sex.

Mike Jones is a former prostitute who told the world he had sex with the Rev. Ted Haggard last year. The former Colorado Springs evangelist at first denied it but eventually confessed. Jones says Craig paid him for sex in late 2004 or early 2005.

Greg Ruth was a 24-year-old college Republican in 1981 when he says he was hit on by Craig at a Republican meeting in Coeur d'Alene.

Tom Russell, now 48, is a former Nampa resident who lives in Utah. Russell said his encounter with Craig occurred at Bogus Basin in the early 1980s.

A fifth gay man, who is from Boise but who declined to be named for fear of retaliation, offered a recent and telling account: He was in a men's restroom at Denver International Airport in September 2006 when the man in the next stall moved his hand slowly, palm up, under the divider. Alarmed,....

I don’t much want him in office, but I don’t live in that state. What concerns me more is that Barney Frank is allowed to stay.

There’s an old film about the likes of Larry:

Yes, logically one cannot disprove a negative. If people believe he is a homosexual, there is no way he can prove otherwise.

Also, another example of where the righteous right hang their own for infractions of the moral code, but the opposition celebrates these infractions. Leaves our candidates open to personal destruction--especially over homosexuality, heterosexual affairs, divorce and so forth.

There is nothing to suggest in life or Scripture that conservatives are immune from sin--including sexual sin.

Homosexuals are doing their best to prove they are "normal." What this means to them and the average heterosexual person are different. Want to excite the homosexual community? Simply have a conservative of any stripe or kind imply they are not "normal."

So let the righeous ones rant. Senator Craig will complete his term and the righeous will only discharge their considerable load of hostility.

I was but a child at the time, but there was a MS rep who was run out of office when it was discovered he was gay. “Win win win with John Hinson” was his campaign ad. Scary how I remember that. I don’t remember what year it was either.

The old pervert’s not on trial.

He’s being judged by voters as unworthy to represent them and make laws that affect them.

Seems to me you all are protesting too much, LOL.

According to the MSM:

If one is a homosexual Marxist, Liberal or Democrat, one is good, moral, courageous, insightful, kind to animals . . .

A homosexual Conservative is a low life form unworthy of elected office.

There’s probably something to their tales. Craig is already toast so there’s nothing much to be gained by coming out and lying.
Craig, go away!

That reminds me of a movie!

“Advise & Consent” (1962)

Don Murray plays Senator Brigham Anderson from Utah.

Robert Leffingwell is the president’s candidate for Secretary of State. Prior to his approval, he must first go through a Senate investigation to determine if he’s qualified.

Leading the Senate committee is idealistic Senator Brig Anderson, who soon finds himself unprepared for the political dirt that’s revealed . . . the young senator begins receiving blackmail threats about a skeleton in his own closet.

Just guess what that horrible secret is . . .

So since this gay whore seems to have a good memory and is now repeating a violation of "trust" between customer and prostitute, he should have the b***s to publicly out all of his famous or important clients. It's only fair. or would that be bad for business?

Why shouldn’t liberals be defending Craig? Why is he being force by them to stay in the bathroom I mean closet?

“Craig is already toast so there’s nothing much to be gained by coming out and lying.”

Yes there is, if the intent it to get him to resign in order to open his seat up for a chance to get a democrat in the Senate.

Chances are though, with a Republican Governor, Craigs ‘replacement’ might have a better chance of being elected to the seat then a democrat, but the possibility still exists that the seat could be turned.
