I wish the authorities would leave this poor woman alone. She's innocent.

Speaking of Pamela Rogers Turner, who is now serving 7 years for violating her probation , did so by recontacting her young paramour, with this video via cell phone. Such a waste to have such talent in the Big House?

What strikes me as rather odd about this case is the behavior of Mr. Lafave, the ex. Mr. Lafave appeared on every talk show today, and was just on Greta (yeah, I know, Greta is pathetic, but I was multitasking and didn’t change the channel). This guy has dedicated himself to cashing in on this whole fiasco with a book deal, movie in the works, etc. He says he’s “moved on” with a new wife and 18 month old son, but he obviously hasn’t.

Lafave was practically salivating and stating that Debra should have gone to jail the first time, but that now she definitely should go to jail with this latest parole violation. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he’s hired a PI to dog her steps and try and get some dirt on his ex. Don’t get me wrong, I'm not defending what Debra did at all, but there is definitely something very wrong about her ex. I smell major slimeball.

" . . . and that sort of spawned the whole “not guilty” meme we’re still stuck on here."

is that pronounced 'may-may' or 'meem'? I'm stuck on that one, moose

This is hardly violates the intent of the condition. Whatever happened to common sense?

You need to ask? The loss of common sense began when statutory law overcame common law right after WWII.

She reminds me of a Golden Retriever: pretty, but mentally vacuous.

More so an Irish Setter. Mine had the mental capacity of a brick. But track and point? None better than that little lass.

She. Is. On. Parole. She has no right to violate her parole.

You were a hall monitor in High School, right?

I’ve met several extremely HOT manic/depressives

What, are you kidding? Those are the only women I attract. My dad married one. Scratch that -- he married three.

Cute and crazy That's our type. It's also our kin, but it's too close to the Thanksgiving get-together for me to discuss it.

One Thanksgiving, not this one, my grandma asked Why I haven't married. I looked around the table and pointed out my father, his brother and his sister. Three people, nine marriages, nine divorces, Dad has three, my uncle has four, my aunt has two. None of them is currently married. They are all close to or over 60.. Why didnt I rush to the altar? Could it be because I've never had a model of a happy and successful marriage? Hmmmmm?

She was talking to a female co-worker, a "Violation of Condition 69."You have no idea how much restraint it takes me not to comment on that,

Condition 69? C'mon. That's just unfair.

I'm not against zero tolerance as much as I'm for common sense.

The two are diametrically opposed. "Zero tolerance" is designed to eliminate the need for common sense. It is a set of rules designed to ensure that no one in the system has to exercise judgment.

>>Yeah, I bet that 17 year old was trying to talk with her.<<

Its not really odd for a younger female worker to talk to an older female worker.

Since what she did was have a consensual but illegal relationship with a boy its not surprising the 17 year old girl was talking to her.

I wonder how she got turned in.

Sheesh. With an act like that, she should’ve been dancing at the Pink Pussycat, not teaching school. Now THAT is a probation violation, and I’m not sorry she’s doing 7 years for it.

(But you do see my point that she’s hotter than Lafave, right?)
