A county chair for Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has been caught sending an e-mail casting aspersions on Sen. Barack Obama's religion, and today, the Clinton campaign asked the person, a volunteer, to leave the campaign.
A Dodd supporter in Iowa wrote about the e-mails on the Daily Kos site, and the Clinton campaign.
The ever vigilant Clinton web guru Peter Daou emailed a response:
There is no place in our campaign, or any campaign, for this kind of politics. A volunteer county coordinator made the mistake of forwarding an outrageous and offensive chain e-mail. This was wholly unauthorized and we were totally unaware of it. Let me be clear: No one should be engaging in this. We are asking this volunteer county coordinator to step down and are making it clear to every person involved in our campaign that this will not be tolerated.

But then again I am just a mean ol' bigoted conservative who needs to learn to share the love.
Oh never. Now we will get to read articles blaming this on Republicans, like I saw in the LA Slimes a few days ago.

If mainstream Muslims were intrinsically able to support the US Constitution (or any true democracy for that matter) we would be seeing massive rejection of incidents like the Sudan 'teddy bear named Mohammed' incident, of alQaeda insurgencies, of flogging raped women, etc.
But we are NOT.
In fact, poll after poll confirms the fact that a large percentage of Muslims sympathize with these atrocities, all in the name of supporting Sharia law, and of destroying Israel, of which they have been inbred since birth.
Listen, most Westerners WANT to be able to trust Muslims as brothers in democracy.
Unfortunately, until the Muslim powers-that-be rise up and rid themselves of these horrendous Islamic tyrants, then I for one will have no trust in them.
I would also add that when Muslim countries allow Jews, Christians, Hindus, etc. to run for office, I would have more trust in them.
