Fred’s hunting different game these days. They require weapons different from guns; he paid for the license when he entered the hunt; and, if the game don’t realize the skill of the hunter until they’re bagged, then so much the better!
RE: I actually meant I didn’t personally have a taste for hunting as a sport.
I’m the same way with fishing - my favorite “fishing hole” is department in the grocery store, no license needed. (And you don’t have to clean the things, either.)

I’m trying to figure out how the “Fred Thompson Facts” related to my post.
I think you might not have noticed that my “Rumor has it he has bagged his limit without a license” was completely tongue-in-cheek in response to someone else’s “There’s no hunting in Hollywood except for starlets.”
I was glad to hear Fred doesn’t mess up good water by adding coffee to it, though. (I prefer my caffeine cold, carbonated, and Diet Coke flavored.)
Neither do I, and I started hunting with dad at age 10.
