Given articles the last two weeks smacking him on AIDS policy and Romney’s church and women’s rights and gifts he received as governor and (whatever else), what exactly is your definition of the word “promoted”?
Clearly, his poll numbers continue to grow in spite, not because, of MSM coverage.
I hope that the religious conservatives open their eyes and realize that the chances that Huck will appoint the best judges in our best interest is about 50-50 since he seems so willing to parrot dem talking points. When it comes time to make the big decisions who will he bend to? From this article alone...it wont be us.

Did Ron come up with that commandment before or after he blistered Jerry Ford in the 1976 primary, attacking the incumbent president — and appropriately so — for, among other things, supporting the giveaway of the Panama Canal?
I was a big Reagan fan in that election and thereafter — my daughter’s named after him — I just get sick of liberal Repubs hiding behind the notion that if you tell the truth about their records, you’re somehow violating the spirit of Ronald Reagan.
I don’t ask, “What would Reagan do?”
I ask, “What DID Reagan do?”
And he smacked Jerry Ford good in ‘76. And except for the turncoat delegation in Mississippi at the national convention, he’d have won the nomination that year.
That’s the real Reagan commandment. If they’re liberals, say so.
IMHO, the Huckster will not be able to withstand the scrutiny that comes with being the frontrunner . I still says it comes down to Rudy vs. Fred. Huck’s votes will go disproportianetly to Fred. Hunter’s 1% will also go to Fred (shame since Hunter was the best candidate). Once McCain drops, Fred will have vacuumed up a lot of those votes.
If George W. Bush would campaign for Hillary the Republicans would win in a landslide.

However, I do know that "The Therapeutic Abortion Act" appears in the CA statute books exactly as Governor Reagan signed it in 1967.
I also know that people can, and do change positions, as Reagan did.
Thanks for posting that. It says Reagan was naive and uninformed about abortion and signed the bill because his advisers encouraged him.
Then he put himself to work studying the issue and came out pro-life.
At no point was he “adamantly pro-choice.” Willard LIED.

I read it. Thanks for your concern regarding my political education. However, I knew most of that when I worked full time for Ronald Reagan's 1980 campaign.
If you really were that involved in 1980, you should know Reagan was never adamantly pro-choice.

Yes, Mr. Reagan did change on the issue of abortion.
He was originally a moderate pro-lifer, signing into law a bill that permitted abortions in the cases of rape, incest, and the life or grave health of the mother, performed in a hospital, after a board of doctors at the hospital certified that one of the exception circumstances existed to permit the abortion, or, in the case of rape, after the district attorney had confirmed the charge.
He was bitterly disheartened when the "health exception" became a loophole to allow a very liberal abortion license.
He eventually became what most folks might call an “extremist” pro-lifer, believing that no abortions at all should be permitted under law.
This is in contrast to Mr. Romney, who claims to have gone from being in favor of pretty much abortion on demand, to believing that abortion should be permitted in cases or rape, incest, or life of the mother.
Even if Mr. Romney isn’t a lying fraud about the issue (and I think he is a lying fraud), even if he now TRULY BELIEVES that abortions should be illegal except in cases of rape, incest, and the life of the mother, where he is NOW is where Mr. Reagan STARTED.
If Mr. Reagan was EVER “adamantly pro-choice,” then Mr. Romney is STILL adamantly pro-choice.
But I don’t think that most of us would call someone “pro-choice” who believes that abortion should generally be illegal, but permitted in cases of rape, incest, and life of the mother.
Petronski is right. Mr. Romney is a liar.
