Dozens of Employees Walk Away From Electrolux

NewsChannel 5 looked into whether the plant employed illegal immigrants. Sources told NewsChannel 5 more than 100 workers have been let go in the past couple of days. The employees said it was complete chaos. According to a NewsChannel 5 source, so many workers have been let go that it has been hard to do their jobs at the Electrolux plant.

Second and Third shifts have been hit the hardest, and they believe the company is taking action to fix a problem that should not have happened in the first place. Diane Casey has lived across the street from the Electrolux plant for years. In that time she has had a front row seat of who comes in and out of the plant, but Friday was different from the rest. It was an observation shared by many during the plants' shift change around 1:00 Friday afternoon.

According to a NewsChannel5 source, Electrolux let go 120 employees Thursday and 52 on Friday.

"They were calling your supervisor, calling names to go to HR, taking them to HR and from there walking them out the door. Something about their ID's or Social Security numbers weren't matching," said an anonymous employee. Electrolux released the following statement: "Electrolux does not tolerate or condone the use of false documentation in attempting to establish work eligibility. Every new hire undergoes two verifications of employment eligibility. In light of the recent news stories, we are conducting a review of employment eligibility documentation. The company's policy regarding the presentation of false identity or work authorization documents is termination of employment." "After our last break on the lines it just went berserk," said the employee.

A phone call during second shift Thursday night prompted many employees to walk out.

"Somebody had called in saying INS was going to be there to pick them up when they walked out the door, so they voluntarily walked out themselves," said the employee. The situation could hurt Electrolux's production. Electrolux wouldn't confirm or deny the number of workers that have been let go in recent days or why. The immigration and customs enforcement department, better known as "ICE," is looking into illegal document vendors in the Springfield area.

Earlier this week, federal Agents arrested two people, and charged them with making and selling fake IDs in Robertson County.

Snif. Nostalgic: I remember when, fondly, people used to be afraid in factories and plants of hearing a fellow illegal shout “La Migra!” You can shoo the first couple vultures off the corpse, but once eight or nine are there, they don’t ruffle their feathers any more...

“Show determination in enforcing our existing laws and the illegal (your choice) problem will begin to implode of its own weight.”

NAIL meet HAMMER.

“They’ll begin to leave of their own volition once it’s evident there’s no reason for them to remain and many reasons to avoid deportation.”

At their own ‘cost’, so that the tax money can be spent on, oh say, bulletproof vests for our soldiers, instead .

Isn’t it interesting that the simplest, and most effective solutions are usually ignored?

Simple? Since when has Congress shown simplicity? Simplicity would show them to be mostly irrelevant. Can't have that now, can we?

A small percent of the organized crime syndicate, the Dixie Mafia, went with the Clintons to DC.

Many of them are still there.

But just because the Clintons left Hope, doesn’t mean that the large percentage of crime bosses did.

Lassiter, Hubbell, and Clinton were laundering $30 MILLION a day through ADFA.
Rose Law firm was selected as the ‘only’ firm that could process the loans ADFA made.

Tyson Foods went from small town to international with some of that ‘loan’ money. (Incidentally, the loans have no payback requirement)
Tyson became the ‘de facto’ head of the Dixie Mafia, once Billy boy left town.

The way that kind of corruption still exists is that the politicians of that state are either ‘afraid’, or on the ‘take’. There is no other explanation.

“In other words, all the illegals got out before la migra showed up.”

Maybe that’s a good thing.

Bet many had a problem speaking English.

Eureka! That's the answer. They can all go to Philadelphia and work as interpreters in Philly/Cheese stores.

Perhaps they could pay a somewhat better wage and get legals to work there instead of McDonalds.

Once found out by HS, the company fires the illegals, then rehires
the illegals, once more phony documents are presented. Vicious Circle,
and can and is being utilized repeatedly?

Where are the ambitious Distric Attorneys that should be filing
charges on Electrolux execs (and MANY other companies) for knowingly
assissting in the PROMOTION of Identity Theft.

Well, I guess those DAs are in the tank for the illegals
and the companies that employ them.

And I'm sure if the Electrolux Human Resources told some illegal
"you've been hired three times under three different names, so
you're probably an ID thief and we won't re-hire you", you know
the MSM, ACLU, La Raza and all the others would be there to
protest this "racist" refusal to hire.

“...there only being 10-12 million illegals in this country is BS”.
I agree completely. There are probably 2 million plus in the Greater Hoiston area alone. This is not to mention the rest of Texas. Our whole State has been over run. The most common name for boys in Texas is now Jose. Whites are now under 50% here in our State.
This is why our days as a Conservative Republican State are numbered. It’ll happen by 2012, maybe 2014.
This will make it impossible for the GOP to ever elect another President in the foreseeable future. Thanks, Bush.

Well, if there’s serial identity theft by illegals in order to get
jobs, there’s a reason.
One judge has said it’s not a crime.

Newport couple faces taxes on income never earned
(IRS and Illegals on ID theft )
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1939547/posts
the real kicker from the article about one of the Identity Thieves:

“...Valdez avoided the identity-theft charge because a judge ruled
that it was not a crime to use someone’s identity to obtain employment.”

I have had this discussion before.

The immigration problem doesn’t bother be because of “racism” or even “xenophobia.”

It’s the political demographics that bother me. We’re not exactly importing people who are fans of The Federalist Papers here.
