Woeful 'This Week' For Hillary: 'Clinton Team Demoralized'
New York Times/NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Worst job in America this morning: Clinton campaign staffer assigned to inform Hillary of her treatment at the hands of ABC's "This Week" panel.

From moderator George Stephanopoulos to former Gore campaign manager Donna Brazile, to the husband-wife duo of Jay Carney of Time and Elaine Shipman of ABC, to conservative sage George Will, it was a decidedly downbeat take on Hillary's fortunes.

Wasn’t a hit piece on hillary supposed to come out in the NYT today, did it?

Nope - had that happened, there'd be a dozen threads here about it. Drudge continues with his credibility issues.

Black Republicans like Condoleezza Rice and Clarence Thomas know firsthand the vicious racism of Democrats. African Americans are about to see how the Clinton machine deals with a black man—Barack Obama—who has forgotten his place.

She is beginning to understand what Kerry had to face. When he was local in Mass., only limited resources would pounce on his war record. He could bring out the usual “vet buddies” to shout down the opposition, ruin a few people, and win an election.

When he went national, the higher stakes brought out the higher commitment by the opposition to get the word out via the Swift Boat Vets, et al. The same thing will happen and is happening to Hillary. Unfortunately it is premature. It should happen AFTER she wins her parties nomination.

And I suspect that is why they are attempting to help her fall on her sword so soon.

I for the life of me cannot figure out why some people here are so darn excited over the idea of Hillary losing the primaries to Obama.
What do some of you think, that the MSM is going to somehow be hard on him like Clinton?

They will not allow a single negative story to be published on him and anyone that is critical of him at any level will be called a racist.

Dont think that will happen? If that guy wins the nomination I can just predict around September all the post about how the press isn’t being critical of Obama and how the GOP candidate cant lay a glove on him because he’s afraid.

And let’s not get started on the polls that will show 90% of people who cant wait to vote for him!

So why some of you are having just a great time on Hillary’s troubles, I hope you guys have a plan B when it comes to Obama.

And making fun of his middle name isn’t a plan B.

And Hillary has a new problem now - the clock.

Geeting closer to Christmas, folks’ minds will be on the holidays, caught up in last-minute shopping, celebrating, etc. With a Jan. 3rd deadline, it’s almost too late for Iowa now.

>>All the lefties I know are swooning over Hiltery!<<

Of course they are. She is a lefties wet dream. But they are not who elect the next president any more than the far right is. Those two factions will always vote the party. The battle is being fought in other places. That is considered permanently occupied territory.

I was thinking along the same lines, insofar as the GOP possibly needing a plan B. But if Obama’s left-wing positions aren’t enough to make him unelectable in the general election, his Islamic background on top of that surely will be his undoing. I can’t see a majority of the American people buying that package, regardless of race.

It’s not just you, it’s very important that she be seen as “The Come back Girl” and this is part of the strategy. Of course, the media is all to willing to help.

Just my personal theory, but I think this is all being orchestrated, so she can have her big “arising from the ashes” moment.

Orchestrated by who?

Come on people.

How many times are you going to be fooled by a scripted MSM story arc? this one will have the Beast back on top in no time, and in doing so will establish her (at least to the MSM which controls most of the public debate) as a courageous and noble “fighter” - And who better to lead this country to the Leftist Nirvana the MSM pines so desperately for?

The Clinton mafia isn’t through, not by a long shot.

The faithful will not let their Beast goddess fail no matter what.

It's really quite simple. We can not stand the idea of the Clintons getting back into the White House. It is our greatest fear, period. If Hillary loses the primaries, then that can't happen. If Obama is the nominee, it will be dealt with. The same things you say about the GOP being afraid to go after Osama (being called a racist) could be applied to going after Hillary (being called a sexist bigot). Getting rid of Hillary NOW should excite you.

It would excite me more if I knew that Obama wasn’t going to have the whole of the entire left-wing establishment pushing him like they have never pushed anything before, while our side has no idea whom among 6 people will be the nominee and no idea which part of the party will jump ship when one wins the nod.

Bill had better watch out. If he croaks the sympathy vote gets her nominated.
And she’d have him killed just like all the others to get the power she craves.

WHAT? You claim 90% of people? WHAT people would they be? And as far as his name not being a problem, it is apparent, very apparent you haven't talked to liberals about this. I live in a dense nest of them and believe me when I say they have NO confidence in HUSSEIN OBAMA getting many votes when the time comes to pull the lever.
