TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A federal judge blocked enforcement Tuesday of a Florida law that prevents people from registering to vote if officials cannot match their Social Security or driver's license numbers to federal or state databases.

*snip*

"The court recognized that this law is in direct conflict with federal laws designed after the 2000 election debacle to make sure every eligible citizen can have their vote counted," said plaintiffs' lawyer Justin Levitt, who is with the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University.

They're just being career minded. If they can help Hillary get elected they will be remembered.

I have been very concerned about this, after what happened the past two presidential elections.

Why bother with elections? Just let the tyrants in the black robes rule the world. They already do and we could save a lot of money on politicians and all their benefits.

Jerks like that “judge” illustrate the intellectual quality on the bench these days, as well as lack of talent in the educational system froom whence they came.

Bar-coded, government-provided national voter ID cards. Must swipe and sign to vote. Tied to social security death records for instant invalidation.

The use of two last names by Hispanics and nontraditional names or spellings favored by many blacks

Is it so hard to remember how to spell it the same way twice? Or are we disenfranchising those who use "aliases"... I mean, they are all just law-abidin' citizens, right?

Couldn’t be more simple. But then simple only applies to the minds of
people like this judge.

Disagreement hour on FR.

Bubba’s legacy was written on a blue dress. He will never be able to escape that.

The judge is either stupid, doesn't know the law or is a partisan hack. Possibly all three:

FL Law:

Section 101.048 states: "In all elections, a voter claiming to be properly registered in the county and eligible to vote at the precinct in the election, but whose eligibility cannot be determined, shall be entitled to vote a provisional ballot." Additionally, section 101.049 provides that provisional ballots are used exclusively whenever the polling time is extended by court or other order. These provisional ballots are segregated from all other provisional ballots.

So, Mr Bonehead Clinton-Apppointed-Judge must know his temporary restraining order is very temporary.

Freaking hacks. Hate 'em.
