I suspect people are expecting Romney to have done more than Bush did.

The issue is judicial appointments. And, no one that cares about the issue should want some lying flip-flopper with a record of appointing liberal judges to the judiciary nominating judges to the Federal courts.

Why not cool the jets and let the process work itself out.

Huck is too weird.... way too weird... and way too slick.

Did you notice how these Romney haters never promote their own candidate. (if they have one)

They are only obsessed with tearing down Mitt Romney.

What a way to go thru life, caring more about destroying than creating.

It’s only a minor sneak preview of what we would see if Romney were the GOP candidate.

It's ironic but he would be the disaster of a candidate a lot of people believe Huckabee would be. He is probably most unelectable candidate and couldn't be relied to keep his word if he did get into office.

Why not cool the jets and let the process work itself out.

Why on earth would I do that and risk this lying RINO becoming the nominee?

Romney actually McCain look a credible candidate.

Romney: "I am absolutely committed to my promise to maintain the status quo with regards to law related to abortion and choice." First of all that is the promised he made was to honor and uphold the law of the Land!

In other words, he would not work to change the law.

Exactly!

Romney, and his supporters here at FreeRepublic, seem to be all spin.

Kind of reminds you of that person who said it depends on your definition of the word "is", doesn't it?

“Would someone tell me what Bush has done on the abortion issue that Romney has not?”

That would be the point I think. He did, and will do, zippo.

“Yikes - devastating. It’s only a minor sneak preview of what we would see if Romney were the GOP candidate.”

The whole flip-flop thing will be brought up on the political side. Then you have to figure half of Huckabees supporters are rockbed Christians who won’t vote for Mitt because of Mormonism - leading to a schism there. That’s before we get to the huge cost overruns in Romneycare.

Seeing a human in a Cuisinart would be far more humane.

Romney: "I am absolutely committed to my promise to maintain the status quo with regards to law related to abortion and choice."

Who talks like that? Freaking twist the King's English. Absolute to maintain status quo, sort of, with regards, but absolutely? Status quo in politics? What's he there for, to tidy up the carpet and keep dust off chairs?

He is the Govenor of a state which has no control over Federal law.

But Romney did have control over new things of what the state wanted to adopt and those things as Govenor he was able to veto!

Why are you trying to complicate it with you inundos!
